Refused to order a part for me under warranty. After being told by Jason at Kia on 3/28 that Carolina Kia was ordering two wheels and possibly four for my car, I called Eric Derby the Service Manag After being told by Jason at Kia on 3/28 that Carolina Kia was ordering two wheels and possibly four for my car, I called Eric Derby the Service Manager on 4/4 to see if my wheels had arrived. Mr. Derby told me that the wheels had not been ordered and that "we, as a dealer, had decided to step away from this" and "to not get involved in this particular claim". In other words, they refused to order my wheels, which Kia determined are under warranty. Currently, since 4/4, a Kia Escalated Customer Service Rep has been trying to contact Carolina Kia to get this resolved, but from what i understand, he cannot get in contact with anyone there. Had I not called on 4/4, I would probably still be waiting to hear about the status of my wheels. I previously had difficulty getting in contact with people there, and obviously Kia of America has the same difficulty. Customer service is definitely not their strong suit. More
