I bought a Land Rover 2019 on 08/19/26. Since I have the car is been in services twice, The documents to register the car were promised to be send overnight by FEDEX, that was on 09/02/26. Spoke to the couple of persons at the dept. that handles DMV documents and told me documents with checks were sent on that day, yes, I was supposed to received them on Friday, that is two days delivery not overnight like promised, anyhow, up to today Saturday Sep 05, nothing has been received, I call Car Max they said they will call me back and never did, I call Fedex 800 # and they said the package was ship to the Hun in Utha, WT xxxx, Now the so overnight package may come by my address on Tuesday 09/08/2026. And my car is still in the shop, So, in other words I bought a vehicle at Car-Max for the second time and it has been a tumultuous experience for me, my handicap husband and still has not enjoy the vehicle. I have to say the first car I bought there it was a great car and never had any problems with it. I just wish you people communicate better and when I call someone will answer the telephone and not wait until I show up out there traveling 90 miles each way to get there. And if I leave a message at least get a courtesy call back. Im very patient human being, but it is getting up to the top my patient self. More

This dealership has good customer service and their prices are competitive. Being out of state they missed the mark on a few items for me personally. 1) The vehicle had some noticeable damage that th prices are competitive. Being out of state they missed the mark on a few items for me personally. 1) The vehicle had some noticeable damage that they didn’t show in the pictures. When it was identified they basically told me “tough luck” we don’t negotiate. If something blatant isn’t accurately disclosed, there should be room for a small price reduction. 2) I had appointment and still had to wait 20-30 mins. 3) Carmax calculated the sales tax incorrectly and I still had to pay some additional tax in Utah. 4) Title was not sent on the stated date and I made special work arrangements for no reason. To their credit, Carmax did try to make the title error right and provided some service coupons which aren’t of much value since I am out of state. Even so, it was nice of them to send them. Overall, I liked the online experience and my primary complaint is they wouldn’t offer any type of discount for undisclosed paint damage (a couple hundred bucks would have made a huge difference). Why bother. This is my second car purchase in 3 months. I wrote a review telling you what I thought of your car appraisal person and did not get a response.
