We recently came to your dealership after buying from a competitor for years. Our first visit was with Jake, he was very friendly, helpful and even called to let us know there was another vehicle we may b competitor for years. We were doing the preliminary looking for our daughter who was coming home for the weekend to purchase a new car. Her first post college car and she was very excited. Our second visit we had the displeasure of dealing with Tom Guido as Jake was busy with another customer. We told him from the beginning there was another car at another dealership she wanted to look at before she made a decision. He took our credit app and I asked that he not do anything til after she looked at the other car first. He quoted us a payment before submitting the application which makes no sense to me because how would he know what interest rate we would get which would make a difference in her payment amount. He left his desk 4 different times and came back with another offer and song and dance about why she should just buy this car. Each time we told him that she would not make a decision after only looking at one car. Finally, he gave us back the keys to her car (although he forgot to give us back her registration so we now have to make another trip there to pick that up) and she left there very upset and as she stated "he ruined my first car buying experience". We went to the other dealership, while sitting there they could tell she was very anxious and upset and we told them we had had a bad experience at Carman. The Salesmen there was very patient and friendly, finding out something about her and what she wanted in a car, price, etc. All Tom wanted to do was sell a car and cared nothing about her and no understanding she is a 23 year old girl buying her first car. While at the other dealership Jake called us to see if everything was ok because he could tell when we left we were not happy. My husband explained what had happened and how we had been treated. He apologized for Tom's actions and asked if there was anything he could do for us. While i understand you are there to sell cars, the way Tom Guido pressured our daughter and made her feel makes me write this review in hopes that someone else is not treated the same way. More

Mr. Giachhino and Ad Ford for over 20 years and just recently I returned to purchase a 2013 Lincoln MKZ. The vehicle is everything I wanted and more. While traveling from Northern Westchester County, NY to Hanover, MD on a business trip - I ran into a problem. My tire pressure light came on while I was on 95, although I felt now change in the car's per Hanover, MD on a business trip - I ran into a problem. My tire pressure light came on while I was on 95, although I felt now change in the car's performance. I pulled over as soon as possible and I couldn't even tell what tire it was - I needed gas so, I figured I would get off at the next stop and add air and keep on going. When I stopped for gas - the front drivers side tire was LOW!! I filled in with air and the tank with gas and did a google search for the closest Lincoln dealership I could find. BOY! Did I get lucky! I drove to Carman and was fortunate that Steve Hudson was the Service Manager on duty. I told him my situation and he was so quick to action for me! When I told him of my customer appointment I needed to make in Hanover, MD - Steve understood the urgency for me and he got down to business. The gentleman he got to check the tire was very helpful as well (I don't know his name though!). Steve gave me the bad news - the tire could not be patched. The good news was that Carman had a tire for me and got me all ready to go. My stop over lasted about 45 minutes and I was thrilled to get taken care of with such urgency especially since I am not a regular customer or from the area! I travel this route often and I have Carman in my GPS now! I will tell everyone I know how wonderful my experience was. The service area was clean and everyone was kind and helpful. He explored each option with us - helping us determine which would be best to have in our vehicle to best fit our family needs. He know so much about the vehicle that he pointed out things/options and explained why it would be beneficial for us to have a particular option in the vehicle...and, guess what - he was 100% right. I have said a number of times since having my new car how I love all its "bells and whistles". I now can not imagine having a car without the options I have! I love my new Ford Explorer! Steve Hudson posses excellent customer service skills to customers, and gets his point accross in a manner that the customer can understand. Additionally, Steve always ensures accuracy in the work completed on my vehicle before returning it to me. I humbly appreciate the level of service that is provided to me by the Lincoln service staff, specifically Steve Hudson. Carman Auto Group should certainly feel proud of such resources, who can bring in good-will for the company. I can appreciate the way that the service department staff is trained, and can say they are following their duty perfectly! More
