I am a Long Time Ford Owner, We had always bought at the same local dealer over the past 20 years. Decided to step out of my comfort zone and try "Carman Ford" who I knew had been around for years. The dealership had a very good selection of new & leftover trucks. I have nothing but very good things to say about my experience. I would highly recommend giving Carman the opportunity to earn your business. My experience started with the salesman, Tom. He was very nice, easy going and not even close to being the "car salesman" we all dread dealing with. Tom listened and understood what type of truck I was looking for, and how much I was willing to spend on top of my trade in. The negotiating process was very cordial, as the negotiating process moved along it eventually included the sales manager, Todd. He too was very friendly, working with me to get the price down to what I wanted to pay. I never felt pressured, or felt like they were trying to confuse me with numbers. The finance / warranty guy, Dan - he was just as friendly. When puchasing the extended waranty, (which I wanted to do, not talked into it) Dan tooked my annual mileage into consideration to get me the best "bang for my buck" under the extended waranty program. Finishing up the purchase, I must say that Tom was by far the most thorough salesman I have ever dealt with at going over all the features of my new F-150 truck. Usually I know more about the vehicles I am buying then the salesman usually does, but not this time. This was a very good buying experience all around. I have already recommended the dealership and specifically Tom to family members and friends. More

They sold us a 08 ford super duty with 40,000 . I had put 8,000 miles on this truck since we left the lot . It has been in the shop 5 different times . We call them back being we are from VA and they said so 8,000 miles on this truck since we left the lot . It has been in the shop 5 different times . We call them back being we are from VA and they said sorry the warranty went out .i wish they would have been honest about this truck having major rust issues and we would have bought a different truck . Now we have to replace both exhaust manafold , the ford dealer said due to the amount of rust they could do 2 options , first is to remove the heads and then drill the bolts out the manafold and our cost is 4500 dollars or just put a remanufacture motor in for 7500 dollars . After getting the truck back and 1200 miles later the transmission just went out . This dealership is not upfront with there customers about used trade in vehicle , when they should be trying to build a relationship with us so we return for another ford truck . We have a fleet of 12 trucks and this was our first ford and a very bad experience . DO not buy ANY vehicles from this dealership .... Not trust worthy people just about making a dollar of the consumer ...... More

I worked with Doug Walton and Adam Johnson. Doug showed me the car one night and I came back with my wife the next night for a test drive. Doug was great to work with, answered all of our questions, and pu me the car one night and I came back with my wife the next night for a test drive. Doug was great to work with, answered all of our questions, and put no pressure on us to buy right then. As things worked out we did trade in our old car and bought the new one. The price was more than we expected to pay, but that was because our expectations were too hight. Doug made sure we were totally informed about the reasons for the numbers he presented, and never pressured us to decide. Everyone there was very nice to work with, and worked together as a team. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and particularly recommend that you seek out Doug Walton. More
I DREAD shopping for a vehicle. My wife wanted a "new" vehicle, and had been looking at the Escape. We are friends with Scott Henning, so we went to Carman. Scott was already with someone so we told "new" vehicle, and had been looking at the Escape. We are friends with Scott Henning, so we went to Carman. Scott was already with someone so we told the sales people we would wait. We were approached by Ken Chin who told us Scott would be tied up for some time as he was selling a vehicle. Anguished we were now going to get the run around, we cautiously went with Ken. We picked out a Certified Pre Owned 2013 Escape. Ken assured us Scott would get credit. We were there for 7 hours. BUT not because of the standard run around we were expecting. They sold 3-4 vehicles since we had gotten there and now it was time for the 4-5th. Ken went over all the vehicles options, answered ANY question we had. We took it for a test ride. Ken then proceeded to find out what we were comfortable paying. Bob Carty is not your typical GM he was low pressure and extremely down to earth, he listened to what Ken told him we wanted, THEN gave an excellent price. Our trade which we bought from their Dodge showroom was paid off, and the deal was done. Then the next thing we dreaded the Business Manager. Dan Miller was just as nice as the rest of the people we had dealt with earlier, He answered all of our questions and assured us what he was saying was what was going to happen. I would highly recommend Carman, they are NOT your typical car dealership. More
I came into the dealership on Saturday November 2nd, just browsing. When I pulled up Greg Grimaldi pleasantly met and greeted me. After speaking with him and telling him what I wanted, wanted to spend, and the price I was willing to pay for this particular vehicle, he called me on Monday the 4th and had everything arranged. Mike Sipala and Greg worked diligently to make this happen for me. This has been the most pleasurable experience I have ever had when car shopping. I knew the price I was paying and all of the details about the transaction was clearly explained. I had bought my prior car at another dealer and when I left I wasn't sure of the final price or the financial details. Bob Carty also went over everything and answered all of my questions. I am very satisfied with my purchase but even more satisfied with the service from this team. I will be coming here for all of my future purchases. This was very important to me as a woman because most dealers see a female coming and try to take advantage of our "lack of knowledge" about cars. Not so in this case. Kudos to these gentlemen.
