Don't Bother Scheduling a Test Drive I came to this dealer from 2 hours away. In order to avoid any issues, I've scheduled a test drive for two cars a week in advance. When I walked into I came to this dealer from 2 hours away. In order to avoid any issues, I've scheduled a test drive for two cars a week in advance. When I walked into the store, the person that I was scheduled with didn't even bother to show up and they had no clue which cars that I wanted to test drive, even though I had scheduled it a week in advance. A salesman who was taking care of us immediately asked us if we were going to make a decision today. Since we had other test drives scheduled with other companies, we said no, and his attitude changed drastically from that point. He said "let's make this as quick as possible" and drove us to a Walmart parking lot and have us drive the car back to the dealer from there. After test driving the first car, we told him that we still wanted to test drive the second car. Again, even though I had this scheduled a week ago with specific models, they didn't know, or they didn't care, which car that I wanted to test drive, and showed us a random one, but the same model, on the lot and he said that the tank would be empty in 2 miles since the car just arrived at the dealer. This combined with the uncomfortable seats in the second car, we decided not to test drive it. After all of this, he comes to us and offers a "today only" price, like all the things I just mentioned did not happen. We told them that we narrowed down our decision to a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and a Ford F-150, and he says, in a condescending tone, "ohh you're not ready at all then". I am assuming he said this because they are two different kind of vehicles, but I could consider a mustang vs. a ford F-150 and that's the reason customers test drive the cars after all, to see if they like the way a car drives. Both cars might have positives and negatives. Towards the end of our time at this dealership, we asked if we could get a copy of the detailed price sheet he got for us in case we decide to go with the F-150 model after test driving the Jeep Wrangler at a different place, and he said that, "there is no need to copy, you can just keep it, because you won't be buying the car till July". We never said anything like this, I told him that I would finalize my decision before the Summer, and I am still planning to buy the car in May. But obviously not from this dealer anymore. My suggestion is that, don't judge your customers based on if they're going to buy the car the same day or not. More

Shockingly obnoxious and simple minded Went in to have my Ford Fusion keys reprogrammed and the new key I had laser cut. I was told over the phone 85 dollars. seemed high but I was at the mercy of a stealership. I arrive there and the service agent I dealt with reminded me of the drunk uncle at the Thanksgiving table. Argumentative, aggravated, and honestly not that bright. I explained why I needed the keys reprogrammed b/c it was previously a fleet car etc... He quotes me 120 right out of the gate, even though we discussed it on the phone, I then asked if while they are programming and it is on the diagnostic computer could they jot down the door pad code. He said "sixty dollars". Literally no other part of a sentence, just "sixty dollars". Like a neanderthal. I said "I am sorry, are you saying there will be an additional charge?"..."sixty dollars" comes my way again. Now I think he may be challenged so I ask for the service manager. He was polite but explained they pay a lot for the computers and just b/c it is on the screen doesn't mean they could give it to me free. And it will be sixty, plus 120 for programming, plus 50 for the key to be cut. I left and went to Sheridan Ford. Guess what? 85 dollars and 45 minutes later I had my keys cut, reprogrammed, and the door code jotted down for me at no charge, I hope you guys read this at Carman Ford, You suck and your competitor ate your lunch. Your pricing, attitude, and intellect were all an embarassment to the Ford brand. More

And as soon as we got there, he had already pulled around 2 vehicles that fit the criteria if what we were looking for and it was near perfect. It was very convienent and he didn't waste a minute if our time. He hooked us up and also made the paperwork portion of the process quick, easy, and painless.
