Be careful which service person you deal with. I purchased a vehicle and within 1 week had to return it for issues, long story short the service rep who's name is Tom proceeded to argue with me and I purchased a vehicle and within 1 week had to return it for issues, long story short the service rep who's name is Tom proceeded to argue with me and told me how many miles i drove the vehicle and they would not fix it. I told him twice i don't want to argue and i will just call the sales department and let them deal with it. He said why? they will only call me back. They fixed the problem but Tommy only wanted to argue. More
This place is GARBAGE I recently purchased a vehicle from CARMAN and have had nothing but troubles since. After six weeks (temp tags still on the vehicle) I went to star I recently purchased a vehicle from CARMAN and have had nothing but troubles since. After six weeks (temp tags still on the vehicle) I went to start it in the rain. It made no attempt to start. After checking the battery cables, I called CARMAN and they told me to have it towed in, but would not pay for the tow. They referred me to the warranty company, who referred me to their emergency line, who referred me to the tow company. The tow driver could not have been nicer and more communicative. He called me when he picked up the car and called again to confirm he was dropping it off at the correct place. I received a call from their maintenance manager two days later telling me to call him. I did. It went to voicemail. I called again to their main service line and was redirected to the maintenance manager. It went to voicemail. I called a third time, spoke to the receptionist, and she put me on hold for 10 minutes. After which she answered the phone again and asked if I was still waiting for the maintenance manager. I told her I was and she put me on hold for another 10 minutes until I got frustrated and hung up, then having a co-worker drive me to their location. I stood in front of the maintenance manager for 15 minutes while he sat on hold on the phone to someone else and refused to engage me. Afterward, and once I had a chance to introduce myself, he informed me that the car keys (broken) that they had given me had been saturated with water and disabled the security, which prevented me from starting the car. I was then informed that I owed him $125. I told him no. He asked if I had a spare set of keys and I informed him that the key I was given when I purchased the car broke off in the ignition 4 days after I bought it and the keys they repaired were the spare set. At that point, he waived the $125 fee. That's the only decent thing they've done. Two weeks later my temp tags expired and I still had not received my permanent plate in the mail. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited a week afterward, but still had not received my permanent tags. I called the receptionist once again and was informed that my permanent tags had arrived at the dealership. Why did you have them shipped to the dealership rather than my house and why didn't someone call me to let me know that they had arrived and I should come pick them up? This weekend I got home from a vacation to 3 violation notices from EZ-Pass. Apparently, the license plate on my trade-in was not disposed of properly and was being illegally used on two different vehicles that did not pay New Jersey tolls. At best, they were negligent in removing my license plate. At worst, one of their employees stole it. This dealership is garbage. Their customer service is horrendous/non-existent. Never buy a car from here. More
