He asked me if he could show me anything, but I said that I was looking for this certain truck.I didn't like that truck after I saw it in person, so I went back to Carman Ford/Lincoln. I was approached by Adam Johnson who fit my requirement for a salesman. He was very friendly and pleasant!He was over-bearing, yet still persistent. I like this one particular truck,but it was a little above the price that my wife and I discussed.We went on a test drive and I liked it even more, but it still didn't have all I wanted and the price...well you know, didn't quite fit my budget.Adam was very patient with me and we worked some things out he got me some financing that fit my budget. I am very very very satisfied with my truck purchase and the service Adam provided!! He was very professional and personable! I highly recommend this salesperson and dealership!!! More
Daniel Shine really understood the product he was selling. He understood the workings of all the components, and really seemed to enjoy selling the product. I found a MKX online and it was the exact match I was looking for. I spoke with Andrew several times on the phone and we were able to agree on the value of my trade in and the price on the MKX. I was very well pleased with the service I received when I purchased my 2005 Mustang. I have never been to a dealership where I felt like royalty. They knew I was coming because I had talked to Bob (sales manager)on the phone before hand, but they greeted us immediately and showed us where to go. Adam was a really good guy and made us feel right at home. We were very impressed with all that we came in contact with. Thanks for the warm welcome and the good deal we got. More
I found on line that Carman had a 2010 Lincoln MKZ I was interested in. I went there on 11/16 and was promptly greeted by Adam Johnson in a friendly but non pushy way. It was pouring rain, he had me wait in the show room while he brought the car up next to the building. Adam let me test drive it and explained all the features and how they work. Adam explained everything about the car which has many technological features I was not familiar with. I liked the car. They appraised my trade in and Adam, the sales manager Andrew Krueck and I came to an agreement on what I consider a very fair deal. The finance person, Neil Springer was also very helpful and knowledgeable. This was a very pleasant car buying experience and I believe I received a vey fair deal. All three of these gentlemen, know their business and treated me well. I highly recommend them. More
We went to every Ford dealership within the county. Sat down and worked the numbers at all of them. The first place was just insulting. Porter Ford would only deal with what they had on the lot, which was down and worked the numbers at all of them. The first place was just insulting. Porter Ford would only deal with what they had on the lot, which was not what we wanted. They kept saying they were making us great offer. We'll get back it that toward the end. The second place we went to, Sheridan Ford, made a decent deal. They went out and found what we wanted at another dealer out-of-state, which took about a day and a half. We just couldn't agree on the trade in. They don't deal with older models and said it would go right to the auction and they wouldn't make as much off of it. Both my wife and I felt comfortable with deal, but thought that the trade in was worth twice as much so we went to Carman Ford. I contacted Dan Giacchino by email and he gave me the internet price. Which was $2,000 lower than the other two dealerships right from the start. Then I went in talked to Mr. Satterly about getting exactly what we wanted. There weren't many Edges with the 302A package with the colors we wanted, but he found three in about 10 minutes. We talked about some discounts, service plans and the trade in. There was no haggling, no frustration and they never mentioned their profit or lack therefore. That was the one thing that really turned me off of Porter Ford. The sales manager kept talking about how it cost them money to go get what we wanted and that they would "hook us up" with a deal on what they had on their lot. That price for just the vehicle was more than what I paid with everthing; Taxes, tags, extended warranty and the maintenance plan! And it was for the 301A, not the 302A package. Again, insulting. The one thing that impressed me more than anything else at Carman was the fact that Mr. Satterly and Mr. Brabender stayed with us for more than an hour past closing (almost 10pm) to review all of the features and setup the Sync with our phones. I was very impressed with these gentlemen. It showed they actually cared. Customer Service seems to be a lost art nowadays, but not at Carman Ford. I just want to say thank you to them for making that extra effort. More
