Carman provided outstanding customers service before, during, and after the sale. When I found what looked and felt like a chip in my windshield the day after I bought my car, they looked at it and, had during, and after the sale. When I found what looked and felt like a chip in my windshield the day after I bought my car, they looked at it and, had it been a chip, would have done whatever was necessary to fix it. They didn't have to. They could have said you didn't see it the day before, it's your problem. And when I had difficulties getting voice control to work with my MP3 player (due to a huge music collection), the sales staff spent an hour working with me to get it to work. When they weren't successful, they escalated the issue to experts within Ford and followed-up with me. This was a week after the sale. I've dealt with many dealerships. Most seem to look at customers as marks to be conned. Carman is different. They look at us as customers and recognizes that if they perform well now, we're likely to be repeat customers. They also recognize that customers are busy and it isn't always easy for someone to just stop by the dealership. So, they are more than happy to answer any questions they can over the phone or e-mail - including doing multiple vehicle searches and sending electronic copies of the window stickers to customers so they can see everything that's on the vehicle and the detailed list price without having to go to the dealership. Customer service is worth it's weight on gold. Carman has definitely earned my future business. If I decide to buy another Ford or Lincoln in the future - even if I were to move to Baltimore, I'm make the trip back to Carman to make my purchase. More

Jeff met me as I pulled in. Extremely friendly and courteous, he asked me what he could help me with and then stopped to listen to me. I had done my homework. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I was willing to pay. Jeff immediately started to search for my car. As the search began, Jeff also knew it might be a tough find. I wanted the Ford Focus SEL with all of the bells and whistles including fill navigation and winter package. It also had to be metallic gray. Jeff listed several scenarios, not alternatives, but scenarios for how he would get me my car. My husband and I had been waiting a week and a half already from another dealer that promised they could deliver and instead of getting me the car I wanted, we were given some really bad stories to try to explain to us why they didn't get me the car they were promising. It never occurred to Carman Ford that they couldn't get me my car and in fact because of their awesome inter-dealer relationships and negotiating power --they have a large stock with which to trade and deal, I received my car the very next day! It is perfect! Another local dealer, right down the road, couldn't even come close on the price. The time I spent at Carman was comfortable and I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff. Everyone who sees you says hello, shakes your hand and introduces themself. I am a nurse. I work for the leading healthcare provider in DE and service excellence is what is expected of me every day. It was wonderful to feel all of that from the receiving end. The purchase process was seamless and quick. Time was carefully taken where it mattered most, teaching me about my new car. I drove away confident and could not have asked for more courtesy, knowledge, patience, and understanding. One more thing I have to note, there was no pressure to buy, no pressure for extended warranties, joining clubs or purchasing options. There was information about these things readily available and I chose to ask about the protective glass coating that guarantees my paint for seven years and simonizing for the interior. I chose to purchase this -- very little cost for the protection. In summary, this has been my best auto dealership experience --tops my BMW purchase in 2002. P.S. I have owned Ford vehicles -- three trucks to be exact. My Ford trucks have pulled my horses across thirteen states to compete in professional rodeo as well as hauling me off to the polo field for years.. My mistake was a Chevy Pickup during the you pay what we pay era. The Silverado is crap! Jeff and Carman Ford can expect us back for an F250 in the near future. Thank you Jeff and Carman Ford! More
