I prefer to take my car to a dealership for servicing as long as the dealership doesn't over charge me for service. Carman has always provided certified servcies at acceptable prices. They performed this service and go over all the work that was performed by the technician so that I would feel comfortable that they checked everything as requested. More
Went in to have a defective roof trim installed under warranty. The new part was installed improperly and fell of 2 days later. They ordered another new replacement and I got a call to set up an appointm warranty. The new part was installed improperly and fell of 2 days later. They ordered another new replacement and I got a call to set up an appointment because the part had come in. I set up the appointment 3 weeks in advance and told them that I would leave my car all day so they could take their time to get it right this time. So the day of the appointment I dropped off the car and ask them to call me when it was done. At 5 pm I had not received any call back from the dealer so I drove up to see what was going on. Every one had gone home for for the day and the only guy there had no idea about my car, did not know where my keys were. I saw my car outside and went to look to see if the work had been done. It had not been done. The only service guy finally got a hold of someone and found out they did not work on my car because they had the wrong part. I asked why I was never called and he could not explain why. I also asked if they bother to check the parts to make sure they were correct before they call the customer and schedule an appointment, he said no. He said that the part number on the part was correct but the part was wrong. I asked to see the part and he said he could not show it to me. I then asked to talk to his boss and he said that the boss was gone for the day. I can forgive the initial issue with poor installation and give them a 2nd chance to make it right. But they entirely screwed up their 2nd chance to make it right by having my car all day and not even bother to call me to tell me that there was another problem. Is is also unacceptable that everyone left for the day and not leave any information for the coworkers about my car. Did they really think they were going to keep my car over the weekend until the correct part came in the next and I would never ask what was going on? This issue is still unresolved and I have been driving around in my 2010 car with the roof looking like crap for over a month. I was able to get the part locally the next day and installed it myself rather than having to rely on the dealer to get it right. It is a $40 part with a simple 1 hr install, even the service bulletin from dodge is available online to instruct how to do it. If you can peel the backing off of 3m double stick trim tape you are about halfway done with the job. More
Everyone at this dealership was friendly and extremely helpfull. Bob, in service explained how long it should take to complete the job. As I continue my journey to purchase yet a second aoutomobile from Carman, I had the opportunity,and pleasure, of dealing with Brandon and Nicole on the sales force and their Manager Joe. They have made my initial purchase here, just a couple of months ago, so painless. What a GREAT experience.Because of them, I am preparing to finalize my second purchase in the next two weeks. Overall great service that I would recommend. The service workers were friendly and professional. They don't try to include a whole bunch of additional services that you didn't request or are necess service workers were friendly and professional. I wouldn't suggest waiting for your vehicle though cause my car sat in the lot for a half hour before they told me it was finished. More
