Carma Automotive Group responded

Mr. Pondexter I have followed your complaint closely. It is unfortunate I cannot participate in every deal, so I can clarify issues in situations like this before the purchase is completed. First of all, we allow our customers to inspect all cars, and even get an inspection from a third party if necessary. We CPO our vehicles, however, At any point, we don't advertise a specific Manufacturers Warranty. Since I cannot be part of every deal, and to protect our customer from miscommunications, our Dealer created a form that is signed first with every deal, and it is titled "PLEASE READ AND ACKNOWLEDGE BEFORE SIGNING ALL DOCUMENTS" (This title is written in 18pts letter) This form was created so, you understand the process, and what you can do to protect yourself from miscommunications. In this form, There are 5 very simple to understand points written in font 12pts so letters are big. It clearly states 2) For your Peace of Mind, we include all forms for you to read and sign. You should sign after reading all Documents and Asking all pertinent questions and clear all doubts, at the time of signing them. 3) Management takes very seriously ALL Promises made to Customers. For your Own Protection, any promise made to you by any representative of the Dealership will only be honored, if they are included on the WE OWE form. 4) If a promise was made to you, and it is not included in the WE OWE form, please, stop signing and ask for a Manager. The reason of this form, as you can see, is to give transparency to the sale, and protect you. I have reviewed your file, and this is what I found: 1) You signed the Acknowledgement. 2) The We Owe form, clearly stated "Nothing Promised, Nothing Owed" 3) A Buyers Guide was signed by you. The Buyer Guide clearly states the CPO warranty coverage and what parts it covers. (Windshield is NOT included) 4) A full Copy of the CPO Contract was signed and received by you. Based on all this information, I could not find any elements to support your claim. I cannot make a decision on a "He said, She said" dispute. Our employees are trained on the CPO coverage, and with the volume of cars we sell, this is a very unusual complaint. Please, do not read this as any kind of accusation. I'm just stating that at some point, apparently some kind of miscommunication occurred, and even if you understood that the glass was covered, you failed to protect yourself as we recommended in the initial form. I don't see or could find anywhere in all the paperwork, anything that could have lead you to believe the windshield was covered. We assist customers that have issues after the sale all the time, participating somehow on the repair, and/or directing them to providers that will work with them for a lower cost. As you can see from our reviews, we are successful most of the time. I apologize you have a bad experience, If I can assist you any further with any other issue that may arise, please feel free to contact me. Alfredo General Manager Carma Automotive Group
