T Avery, you are awesome and I want to say thanks again to you and Shelby for the profession and carrying manner I was provided when purchasing a car. The trip back home went very smoothly and the car appears to be just fine. Working with you was such a pleasurable experience. More

Was told both were great otherwise they wouldn't have posted it. So I drove an hour and they didn't have it on the lot. Waited 25 minutes for them to get it and it was screeching with some rough running mechanical issue and it smelled like a dead animal inside. the car was listed at 6500 and should have been 1000 in which case I wouldn't have looked at it. It was egregious to jerk me around and I wasted my entire afternoon for nothing. More

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever I purchased a 2007 Mustang GT convertible on July 3, 2017. While doing the paperwork and after agreeing to the sales price, Shelby went into the sales I purchased a 2007 Mustang GT convertible on July 3, 2017. While doing the paperwork and after agreeing to the sales price, Shelby went into the sales managers office, came back and told me that they couldn't sell the car without putting catalytic converters on it because it wouldn't pass emissions and it would cost me an additional 767.00 to put them on. I wasn't happy with it, but I agreed. They told me it would take about a week in their shop to put them on. When I called inquiring about my car, I was told by Derri that it didn't need catalytic converters, it needed the cold air intake system taken out, a stock system installed and the car de-tuned to pass emissions. I really didn't understand how he made the jump from no catalytic converters to the other things. The cold air intake system and the fact that the computer chip had been tuned was part of the reason I bought the car because it made the car perform much better. When I picked it up, I was told I would be refunded the money since it didn't need catalytic converters. Weeks later, I still didn't get my refund and after multiple calls and given the run around, I got my refund, but it was only for 334.00, so it was 432.00 short of what I was owed. When I called to talk to them about it, Derri told me that I had to pay for the stock air intake system which I didn't want in the first place. I asked them to give me the cold air intake system they took off and I would get my own mechanic to reinstall it. He said I would have to buy it from them. Unacceptable. I took the car to another shop and it cost me approx. 800.00 to get another cold air intake system installed and the car tuned again to get it back into the same shape it was when I agreed to purchase it. It didn't need those things done to begin with to pass emissions. I personally gave them the invoice for the money I spent and they still didn't give me any money back. Again, unacceptable. My second complaint is that it took me nine weeks to get my tag and that's only because I did most of the legwork myself. My temporary tag was set to expire on August 22. I called the dealership a week before it expired to see where it was at and to make sure that the paperwork was sent in properly. Melissa assured me it was. I did my own inquiry by calling the tag office and I tracked it down to Clayton County. I live in Cobb County. I called Melissa and I asked her if that was where they usually sent tag information to to get a Cobb County Tag. She said yes and at that point, I knew I was being lied to. I went to the tag office myself on August 17th and they told me that the tag information and payments were supposed to be sent to the county the owner lived in. They also told me the temporary tag I had been driving around on was issued and revoked the same day it I purchased the car and that I was driving around on an invalid tag for over six weeks. I called Melissa and told her about it and she said that it was a company called Title Tech that was responsible for sending the paperwork to the wrong place and it was out of her hands. The tag office representative said that wasn't true, it was sent directly from the dealership. I called her to speak with her about it while at the tag office and she started being combative, so I handed the phone while on speaker to the tag office representative who told her the same thing I told her and the tag office representative also told her that the dealership was responsible for fixing my problem, not Title Tech. Melissa agreed to give me a dealership tag temporarily, which I had to drive an hour back to the dealership to pick up, and was assured they would fix the problem. In addition, they didn't even send the tag paperwork to anyone until after 35 days. I think that a dealership has only 30 days to send in that paperwork to the tag office. Two weeks later, I get the paperwork from the tag office returned to me that Carma Automotive sent in for the second time stating that they did not send in enough money to pay for the fees to get my tag. I had to pay the difference to get my tag. It took me from July 3rd to Sept. 5th to get my tag. I only got it on Sept. 5 because the tag office accidentally sent the incorrect paperwork back to me instead of the dealership, otherwise I would still be waiting on my tag for probably weeks. During this time, I was lied to, passed around to different people within the dealership saying I would have to talk to some other person or they would have to check with the owner or the right person was just not available or some other excuse. Sometimes, Derri and Melissa would send me back and forth to each other and neither could help me. It would be laughable if I wasn't so frustrated at the time. I am more than angry over this situation. I have already complained to the Secretary of State and next I am going to the Attorney General's office. What they did and how they treated me was not only unprofessional, but they were totally incompetent. Shelby was good to deal with and I only think she did as she was told so I don't blame her; however, I do put the full responsibility on Derri and Melissa. I don't like being lied to or cheated out of money. I had to jump through all kinds of hoops and only ended up with a partial refund; had to pay money out of my own pocket to get my tag and it took me nine weeks to get it, no thanks to them. It was a horrible, stressful, frustrating, and a total disappointment dealing with this dealership. I would not recommend or advise anyone to go there and I wouldn't believe any of the rebuttals the managers give on this site, because I have learned they will lie and do anything they can not to take responsibility for their own actions and incompetence. We discussed how I have been having issues with my car overheating since the time I walked out the store and the manager and her told us before we left the dealership that we need to take it to their mechanic shop because they were pretty sure that the gauge is messed up and their partner auto mechanic will fix it because Shelby said that Carma Auto Group "Totally focus on the maintenance and mechanical issues of each car and not the detail of the exterior and interior of the cars at this dealership". Lies, all Lies. Well she is 100% wrong because Carma Auto Group took the car that I bought to their mechanic and all they did was put anti freeze in the car (a quick fix) and said that should fix it so they were wrong. When I took it to the my car shop I had to get a new water pump and pay for labor that I spent an extra unnecessary $242.20 that could have went towards my car note. Shelby told me on that Monday that she would speak to her manager and see what could be done but nothing has been done and not even a follow up phone call. You have the worst customer service and you all lied to me and I will never refer you to anyone or buy from your company again. Then today when I try to speak to management to get reimbursement from my repairs because that's why Shelby asked for my repair receipt, the manager tells me that there is nothing he could do and that I should have gotten warranty which was NEVER mentioned to be at all during the process of getting this car..... So you all knew from the time I walked in that I was going to have trouble with the car from day one. I will be blasting this negative review all over the web to inform everyone not to do business with you guys because you do not care about your customers and you sell junk cars and this is just a nice version of this review. BBB is the next place where I will be sending my review. More
