A picture of unprofessionalism I recently had an accident and my car was totaled. I looked online to see what certified vehicles you had on your lot and saw a Honda Pilot that caught my interest. accident and my car was totaled. The sales associate said no and then called me back saying that he had found the suv. When I got there, the suv could not be found. Another sales associate called me and said that he found the suv and asked if I wanted to come back to the lot to see it. I told him no. After a few days, I was looking on CARFAX and noticed that Carlock had a Passport on the lot. I texted Jack Lin about its availability and he said that it was there. After test driving the suv, I decided to talk to Jack about the price of the car. I told him that I would use my credit union to finance the suv. Jack Lin pointed to a sticker that was on the window of the suv that said that Honda was offering 1.9 financing on certified Honda vehicles. After I told him what I needed for an out of the door price, he said that he needed talk to Willie Williams in finance. Willie came over and we agreed on an out the door price. I told Willie that I had an appointment but I would return at 3:00. When I arrive at approximately 3:00, Willie told me that I need to talk to a sales associate name Scott. I asked him why because I was under the impression that I only needed to talk to someone in finance. Willie told me that I needed to talk to Scott because the deal was not done. I was truly confused about the sudden change. When I got to Scott’s desk, he proceeded to try to renegotiate the price of the car. I attempted to explain to him that the car had already been negotiated and that I only needed to talk to someone in finance. He told me that the deal was not complete. I was livid. I told him that I would not be treated like this anymore. Jack Lin came over and asked me what was going on and I told him that I was no longer interested in buying the car because Scott was trying to renegotiate the deal. My mom who is an elderly lady was very upset. As I was leaving, Jack came to the car and asked me to give him an opportunity to make this right. I told him that this had been the worst experience of my car purchasing life. He told me that he wanted me to talk to another gentleman. The gentleman whose name I don’t remember said that he was sorry for what had happened and that he would honor the deal. He offered me additional oil changes. Against my better judgement, I decided to go ahead and purchase the car. Willie then told me that the car that I was purchasing didn’t qualify for 1.9 financing. I told Willie that Carlock had a sticker on the car and that was a selling point of Jack. Willie said that he needed to go and talk to the manager. The manager agreed to the 1.9 percent financing. Willie with a smirk on his face said, “ok, you have 1.9 financing for 36 months.” I told my mom that it was time for us to go for real this time. I will tell everyone in my path of the unprofessionalism that I experienced at Carlock. No one should spend their hard earned money with a company that treats customers with such disdain and disrespect as this company does. The worst experience that I have ever had. More
Sales people don’t know how to demonstrate product features. Taking over 2 months to get a navigation manual that was supposed to come with the vehicle. Very disappointed with all aspects of my Car Purchase. At this present time, I have had a flat on the Honda CRV U purchased to find out my tires are 2017 and I bought the CRV in 2020. I purchased this car my Freeway trying to keep businesses in the city. This was a serious mistake. I have had more headaches with this car. I was told it was 3 months old and had just been brought in. After researching the paperwork, this was a lie. I am so disappointed with them, and I will not recommend that anyone goes there. More

Knew it was going downhill from the time we walked in. Staff was very disorganized. It is immediately clear they have a script they have to follow. Saved My Car in Time of Need I was at the tail end of a long trip from northern Indiana to Birmingham when my car started acting erratically on the interstate about two hours out. I was at the tail end of a long trip from northern Indiana to Birmingham when my car started acting erratically on the interstate about two hours out. It was dying and was overall just a bad experience. I called freeway Honda and explained my situation and somehow I made it to the dealership. They understood that I was a poor college student that just needed honest help knowing what was going on. They kept it over night, did multiple tests, and ultimately gave me reassuring new that it had been fixed because the problem corrected itself. When I went to pick up my car I was greeted with the amazing news that all of the tests they had done, and time they spent on it, they were not charging me. They understood I had little money, and they truly did what most auto dealerships cannot do. I cannot recommend Freeway Honda anymore, an amazing facility with technicians that know what their doing. More
