Traycee, The issue with your battery is secondary to the issue of your vehicle already being repaired, not related to the engine failure due to the overheating of your engine. The charge of $180 is a diagnostic fee which includes the installation of the battery. The price of the battery was $196.02 bring the total charge to 392.60 which you declined. We did not owe you a credit of any kind, we offered you a good faith credit of $369.44 which you gladly accepted and then did not hold to your end of the agreement to take down your untruthful post. Al and Kyle both went above and beyond both in the credit and to trying get your repairs covered by your service contact that was not purchased with us which was ultimately denied even after our multiple attempts on your behalf. You were given all documentation of the repairs done on your vehicle both by our facility as well as the previous facility which failed to give you your test results and then altered their finding which is illegal also contributing to the denial of your coverage by your service contract. Due to you choosing to drive your vehicle without proper levels coolant and after being advised that there was possibly more extensive engine damage cause by driving it with low coolant your vehicle required the work that your service contact denied paying for. We do not offer to return damage parts unless specifically ask for prior to repairs being done, in which case we would have. As per the invoice of the repair shop you had taken your vehicle to prior to ours, you were fully aware of the damage to your engine.

Brian, Just wanted to set the record straight and give you our perspective on your experience with the dealership. First thing is that your window did not break, it was shot out. Most people will use their insurance to repair glass on the vehicle when damaged but you chose the dealership. Replacing a front windshield is a simple repair, but shot out, driver side glass is not a daily occurrence for us. If we had a delay in acquiring the glass, this would be why. We can only go by what our vendors tell us and relay that info to you. Sometimes it is accurate and sometimes it is not. When we spoke, you informed me of the problem, and I was willing to take a piece of glass out of a new vehicle to put into your used truck for the inconvenience. We put you into a rental and told you it would be ready that evening. When we found a piece of glass that we could get for you the next morning, we sent you a message and told you to keep the rental overnight and we would have the truck back to you after work the next day. You never opened that text and came into the dealer upset your truck was not ready and were unwilling to listen to us. That is why your truck glass was not replaced. We have been a family-owned business for over 70 years in La Mesa. DealerRater Dealer of the Year four straight years in a row and sold and serviced hundreds of thousands of vehicles for our customers. Not sure what you mean by bad business or reputation...but I agree that parting ways may be best in this situation. We are sorry we could not meet your expectations..

"Just wanted to set the record straight" You, whoever you are, are not setting anything straight. It does NOT matter why the window broke. We were waaaay passed that. What matters is what happened when I attempted to get a single driver side window from Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World. You act like I wasn't paying for it. Really? I was paying for the window, we already reached conclusion that it was NOT covered under warranty (not an issue). Week after week after week--excuse after excuse after excuse. When I reached out to a local Automotive Window shop, they guaranteed me an OEM window in 2 days, but I put them off because I had already reached a deal with Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World . . . First of all, it was not even the front windshield, it was the driver side window, and it was not shot out. In fact, if you all weren't so completely ignorant, I'd bring it in and show you the window, as it is still there. That's right, it's 06JUL2021, I haven't replaced it yet. It's "possible" that some kids might have shot it with a bb gun or something. The point is, I don't know, and neither do you. Furthermore, don't play that little emotional card on me whoever you may be. "OH NO, A CUSTOMER HAS A SHOT OUT WINDOW, WE CAN'T HELP BECAUSE THAT'S TRAUMATIZING" Give me a break. I'm reminded to remind you to be an adult. Oh, and to "Set the record straight", I chose not to use insurance because the $500 deductible comes out to about the same as the cost of replacement. My insurance agent advised against it. "If we had a delay in acquiring the glass, this would be why" No, it's because the people working at Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World are completely incompetent and can't even order a simple driver side windows without COMPLETELY inconveniencing their customer who just bought a brand new truck from them. I do realize what a huge mistake that was now, at least some learning has taken place. "When we spoke, you informed me of the problem, and I was willing to take a piece of glass out of a new vehicle to put into your used truck for the inconvenience." Yep, and you all couldn't make that happen, you couldn't see that through. We had a deal, and when I came to pick up my truck, nothing had been done. Wow what a surprise. This is why I took my truck and left, I suppose, I have my limits, and I mean to tell you my limit had been reached. "That is why your truck glass was not replaced" No, my window was not replaced because I'd had it with you all. Weeks and weeks of total xx. "we sent you a message and told you to keep the rental overnight" I don't know what to tell you, I work in Cyber Security. Trust me when I tell you, I never received a text message. It means that the bad business comes from inconveniencing a customer for weeks at a time is BAD business. No you're not. If you truly cared, as you imply here, you would have just replaced the window. However, I can't hold you responsible for the idiocy that took place throughout the entirety of the dealership. You're just sales. Parts and service was a whole different matter of inconvenience. Instead of going through the hassle of trying to make yourself look good here, pass the info up the chain so real changes can be made. Then again, somethings never change. . .
