I have always had a good experience getting my 1994 Grand Cherokee serviced at Carl Burger Jeep, but it got even better when David Garcia joined the service team. David Garcia is by far the most friendly, courteous, professional, personable, and reliable sales person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I had to have my truck towed into the dealership minut professional, personable, and reliable sales person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I had to have my truck towed into the dealership minutes before the dealership closed and David was there waiting for me with a smile. He stayed after hours just to make sure my car made it to the service dock and to make sure that I got all paperwork neccessary and put my mind at ease. I mentioned to him that the truck would not recongnize the key and he said he would make sure to keep me informed the next day as to the prgress of the work being done. I also mentioned that I wanted to sell my truck and he told me once the truck was up and running he would have the used car dealership look at it and give the best price possible for my truck. Not only did David call me multiple times the next day to keep me informed about the progress of the truck and that they were able to fix the truck and for less than expected he also gave me the good news that he went to bat for me and got me the price I wanted for the truck at the used car dealership! He is an exceptional employess and person. He was always friendly and courteous and made the entire experience stress free. I wish all dealerships and companies had a David...it would make the world such a better place to be in. He was always smiling, too...that was an added bonus. I have been to Carl Burger many times and have dealt with several service advisors. I have also dealt with service advisors at Mercedes Benz of Escondido for one of our cars, and I have dealt with BMW of San several service advisors. I have also dealt with service advisors at Mercedes Benz of Escondido for one of our cars, and I have dealt with BMW of San Diego for another of our cars.....With all that being said, I will give you a simple suggestion on how to better your service in the future....Have all of your technicians train under Mandi for a week or so. She is so good at what she does, knows how to handle customers, knows how important my time is and she knows how to talk to the customer. She uses phrases like "when I was back there the tech showed me" or "the technician and I both looked at it and agreed", instead of "hmmmm....lets see what the technician wrote here.....". HUGE difference! When she sees me walking up the drive she orders my vehicle brought up before I even hit the booth, By the time my paperwork is completed, it's there waiting. That is BIG BIG deal! She recognizes me AND my vehicles, including ones I have SOLD! She makes recommendations when needed but advises on their urgency. She makes me feel like she is on my side, and is working WITH me. SHe knows how important my time is and whisks me in and whisks me out!! VERY important to me. Last time I was there, she had to finalize some of my paperwork, and offered to mail it to me so I could leave! I've had dealings with many other service advisors, both at Carl Burger and elsewhere. Mandi is one of the best for sure! I will not check completely satisfied because I was unhappy with the outcome of my last visit. Nothing to do with Mandi. I had the AC system repaired by CBD and 3 weeks later my compressor went out. I strongly feel that their may have been something overlooked at the original repair that may have contributed to the compressor failure. Now it will cost me an additional 900 bucks to replace it. I just spent $1100 to fix it!! More
My Jeep is only a couple of week old and when I bought it there was no antenna and I thought that was normal. I have the navigation and my radio started fading out so the dealer that I bought it from, which there was no antenna and I thought that was normal. I went to Carl Burger Jeep and the service Manager told me that Chrysler would not cover it under the warrantee and it would cost $60.00. I was a bit upset and he said let me have the keys and he and another man took the jeep and drove it into the shop. About five minutes later they brought it back and the antenna was where it belonged. I thought that was really nice and thanked them. More
When at the dealership to look at a new car, I was informed I had a flat tire by Javier. I was in a rush to get to a meeting and Kyle Nyswonger, the general Manager quickly had my car into the servic informed I had a flat tire by Javier. I was having issues with my fuel tank gauge, and with going on long trips, I knew it needed to be taken care of. Brought in my car, Ms. O'Donnell made sure all my concerns were listed. My wife and I were on vacation in San Diego and my tail light blew out. I went in to service and was met by JR. He told me to go to the parts dept. and get a new bulb. Once I got the bulb I went back to hi light blew out. I went in to service and was met by JR. He told me to go to the parts dept. and get a new bulb. Once I got the bulb I went back to him and he at once got his tool kit out and began fixing my break light. He introduce himself and told me that this would only take a few minutes. He knew what to do and proceded to do it. Once he was finished we found out they gave us the wrong bulb, JR did not complain but took it out and we got the right bulb. Through the whole thing JR was very polite and helpful. When he was done he asked if there was any other things he could help us with. Then he wished us a good day and an enjoyable vacation. JR is the kind of employee that a company needs he not only looks out for his employer but he has excellent customer service. He knew upfront that we were from Arizona, so the chances of us buyng a new car would be low, but he showed us the same service if we were from San Diego. He was a credit to your company and to the whole Jeep org. Please thank JR for my wife and I we realy enjoy our inter action with him...... He also took the time to check it out before we left. More
Four times Ive been here. Two for sales, and two for service. Wholesale parts adviser was very professional but after purchasing a MOPAR part (splash guards) for my vehicle and coming home to realize I service. Wholesale parts adviser was very professional but after purchasing a MOPAR part (splash guards) for my vehicle and coming home to realize I need a special tool to instal the rivets into my fender well I was told to bring my issue up to service. So When I told the service rep I just purchased these splash guards (Cheap small plastic parts for 116$ with a discount) from you guys but it requires a special tool I cant find at any oreilys or autozone he told me its a "Chrysler" only tool. So I say you guys dont carry this tool and he stuttered and then said yea a dodge version! In my mind im thinking, 'OK, are you guys willing to take 10 mins to put this part on for me with a tool not available to the public or with the part (ESPECIALLY after purchasing this part and spending almost $40k on a new car)'? He said its gonna cost you 55$. Are you kidding me? Its a 5-10 min job and alls I needed was this rivet tool. Long story short my experience was that the service dept wouldn't SLIGHTLY go out of there way to help a customer even right after buying a part directly from them. They simply pushed me away to figure it out on my own. More
