I visited Chevrolet, Nissan, Ford, Subaru, Honda, and Toyota dealerships in this area. At every one I felt very uncomfortable dealing with the sales people. Very few of them knew about their own products. They all seemed focused on high-pressure sales pitches, which I suppose would work on some people but not on an old pro like me who has been around a while. I finally decided to have a look at the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I drove into Carl Burger on a Tuesday afternoon and was greeted by Joseph Medwar, a salesman. We hit it off immediately. He was helpful, fun, courteous, extremely well-informed about his products, and respectful. I liked that, a lot. I decided to by a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, but he didn't have the one I wanted in silver, my favorite color because I hate car maintenance chores and it doesn't show the dirt. He found a silver one for me, and had it at the dealership the following Tuesday. I test drove it. Then I met Bennet Owen, sales manager, and we arranged a great deal. He took my old car as a trade in and gave me a great price for the new Jeep. Bennet was just like Joseph- helpful, fun, courteous, extremely well-informed, and respectful. You don't run into people like that every day. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated it. I also received help from JJ Carr, Travis Le Mieux, and Michelle Heddinger. I drove off in my new silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, very satisfied with the care and price for my new car. I love that car. It's the nicest care I have ever driven. All in all, it's been a great experience dealing with Carl Burger, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. More

I have been driving a dodge grand caravan for the last 7 years and have just loved the storage when the seats fold flat. The Van had to many miles on it. So it was time to find a new car. So on line I sent out request for some quotes from the closest dodge dealers. With in 30 min Eric Cemeno e-mails us with a quote. We e-mail a few questions and he called us to answer and set up a test drive. When we arrived at the dealership Eric was paged and he came right out with the car for our test drive. When we got back he gave us a fair price and we said deal. I wish It had been the other way around but JJ was so considerate and so proffesional. I even came in with financing already and they matched my interest rate so I used them. We were contacted just as we sat there from the financial institute who financed for us, we couldn't believe it, left US with our heads spinning. We NEVER would have thought based on where we live, that we would EVER go to La Mesa to purchase a vehicle, seemed so out of the way for us but NEVER thought we would EVER consider a Jeep but once we researched it, found it online that was the end of the long drawn out constant search for what we believe, for us, is the "PERFECT" vehicle. We love our jeep, can't begin to say enough good things about it and love the customer service, although preowned we were told they would through in a year of oil changes, great discount in the service dept when we decided we would want to add our trailer hitch if we decided to go with them and the fact they offer a gathering for customers monthly, how could we have gone wrong, best experience EVER and we have been married for almost 40 yrs and have purchased 36 vehicles over all these years...couldn't be happier and we have NOT one complaint nor can we find one thing that we didn't agree with, problem free buying, quick as a wink of the eye and we just loved how Eric handled EVERYTHING for us, he respected that we were older and was so excellent in the manner in which he handled our purchase and how respectful he was of us as the "customers", cordial & very proper. David has been a huge help to me. Why, because My alarm used to go anytime, anywhere. For three years the service manager I had at that time could't fix it. then came David, First time with him and it was used to go anytime, anywhere. Today my turn signal stopped, I called and he said come on right down and in no time at all I was on the road again as good as new. For only $ 3.26. David is polite, fast and fixes it the first time. when I take the car in for oil changes, he always make recommendations as what we need to now and later. Ultimately, he brought my offer to his GM that day and together they were able to make the deal work. Lastly, Chris Selfani came in to make the financing work to my advantage as well.
