So I thought the car buying experience was one of the biggest headaches that life had to offer. I thought it was so bad I held myself back from it because of what I had heard and saw what others had gon biggest headaches that life had to offer. A year ago I was contacted by one of the staff members at Carl Burgers Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World and I told her I was not ready to buy a car yet. Victoria remained persistent for the entire year. I heard she was let go. Major bummer because I selected Carl Burgers Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World because of how determined she was to get me in a vehicle. Instead I was contacted by Nancy the assistant to the Fleet and Internet Manager whose name by the way is Julio. These two working together is phenomenal! They were able to get me in there after I heard Victoria was not there and they managed to get me in a vehicle that I am truly satisfied with in addition to an experience I found to be "a walk on the clouds" Nancy was excellent when assisting her boss, attentive, hospitable, and posses a personality that is special for her position. She is connected! As for Julio, this man is what I call a "go-getter" and lives up to his word! Like I said this was my first. He exceeded the standard level of customer service which I find to be a remarkable asset even for a Fleet and Internet Manager. J/K! I would just like to post about my experience with the service department at Carl Burger Dodge. Day 1: I take My 2004 Dodge Dakota that is getting errors for the MAP and camshaft sensor. I was told tha service department at Carl Burger Dodge. Day 1: I take My 2004 Dodge Dakota that is getting errors for the MAP and camshaft sensor. I was told that the problem was that the computer needs to be reflashed and the MAP sensor was bad. So I let them reflash my PCM and got a new MAP sensor from the auto parts store. I drove it 5 miles to my house and it still has the same codes for the camshaft sensors. So I take it back to the service department. Day 2: I was then told that the sensors for my cam and crankshaft have to be factory ones. And that this may still not fix it. Now I can tell that they are just guessing on what is wrong with it and want me to put MY MONEY up for their guesses. So I buy the factory sensor and install them myself. I still get codes for the camshaft sensor. So I take it back again. Day 3: When I take it back this time the service advisor that has been helping me states that he cannot keep “DIAGNOSING MY TRUCK FOR FREE”. So I guess that DIAGNOSING a problem on a vehicle at Carla Burger Dodge means “we will just guess what is wrong and have the costumer start replacing parts at their cost until the right part gets replaced”. Day 4: I get a call from them telling me that now they THINK it is the PCM but it might be something else. So they want me to pay them to replace my computer at a cost of $700 for the part and $200 for the install. And this still may not be the problem. I thought that taking a vehicle to the SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS would get my truck running. Instead of experts, I think Carl Burger Dodge has SUBJECT MATTER GUESSERS. If I would have known they were just going to charge me for changing out parts to see what the problem was I would have never taken it to them. I have only owned two vehicles in my life and I have bought both of them from Carl Burger Dodge. I am writing this as a warning to anyone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE TO GET FIXED. Any mechanic can start swapping part in a car to see if the problem gets fixed and in that case, you do not have to take it here. More
Our Dodge Journey is the second Certified Pre-owned car that we have bought from Carl Burgers in the last six months. It is not a wonder why they have a sign outside of their showroom that says "Largest C that we have bought from Carl Burgers in the last six months. It is not a wonder why they have a sign outside of their showroom that says "Largest Certified Pre-Owned Dealership in California, because buying a car from them makes it seem ridiculous to even look anywhere else. After buying a Chrysler 200 six months ago, I looked up my previous salesman, Javier Fierro, because no one has ever made car buying so simple and actually fun. I hoped that we would find something as awesome as the 200 so that we didn't have to look anywhere else. Needless to say, Javier performed his magic again, and we are now perfectly happy customers two times in the same year. If I could find a reason to justify buying a third car, I would do it again in six more months. Javier is truly the very best of the best at his job, and I don't want to buy a car from anyone else. He alone could make Carl Burgers a 5+ dealership in every respect, but he didn't do it alone. He is part of an amazing team that will keep me going back. I asked to work with Bennett Owen when it came time to make a final decision because he made this a very comfortable and even exciting experience last time, but unfortunately, he was off. Wes Kachi stepped into that role and showed me that making this part of car buying a great experience is in Carl Burgers culture, once again making this phase very comfortable. I also asked to arrange financing with Chris Selfani, as I had an equally perfect experience with him when buying the Chrysler 200. He was with another customer, but we chose to wait because he is simply worth the wait. These gentlemen truly make buying a great car a really great thing. They are all very well versed in exceptional customer service, and they deliver in the most professional, yet personal way. They turned me over to Chris Levin in service to arrange taking care of a few additional items on a "due bill", and he once again defined outstanding customer service, making this the best shopping experience we have had for any product in any industry. This is without a doubt a remarkable place that offers an amazing service to our community. I am very grateful that I found them and really will make them my "dealership for life. I was somewhat miffed that that part hadn't been replaced during the extensive work, and returned to the dealer. They replaced the broken control, checked the system for damage, and even ended up replacing the heater exchange at no charge. That was more than I expected, and more than I'd ever gotten from any other dealer. It was satisfying to know that they were willing to stand behind their work. More
