During my search I visited 10 different dealerships in the Middle Tennessee area, and I kept finding the same thing. I test drove the same truck over and over, met a lot of nice people, and continually found the same deal. These deals weren't bad, but I kept holding out. Alvin Carney called me one evening and I dropped by to see what Carl Black had to offer. At first it was more of the same and they really didn't have the exact truck that I was looking for BUT Alvin took the time to start building a relationship. I walked away that evening, continued my search, and after a couple of weeks found a truck in the Carl Black inventory. So what's the difference? Alvin built on that relationship that was started a few weeks before. He didn't hound me or anything of the nature, instead he actually went to work and lowered the price to the point that I came in a second time. I was treated with respect, there was no fast talking, the numbers were clear, they didn't hide my keys, we were able to have natural conversations, and the experience was amazing.
