Updated review following disappointing customer service Long story short - I was sold a car by Cargill that was not legally safe to drive and when I asked them to fix it, they refused. Short story long Long story short - I was sold a car by Cargill that was not legally safe to drive and when I asked them to fix it, they refused. Short story long - I was originally pleased with my experience at Cargill and my salesperson, Jason and I wrote a positive review to reflect that. However, after I had purchased my car from them and brought it to my mechanic for its first inspection, I found out that the back two tires were very old and one of them was full of air bubbles, deeming it very unsafe to drive because it could explode at any moment. I called Cargill and explained this safety issue to them and asked if they would replace the tires that they were supposed to have checked and replaced during their "60 point safety inspection." I was told that they would not replace the tires because I already got a good enough deal on the car and therefore, they could not do anything else for me. This was extremely disappointing. I had thought that Cargill was better than the other dealerships, and actually on the consumer's side. After I purchased the car, they promised ongoing customer service when it came to any questions or concerns that I had and not even a week after I had purchased the car, they had already written me off and were unwilling to fix the car that they had sold me with unsafe tires.
