I was lied to on several occasions, told my trade-in was only worth $1000 when KBB.com put it at $2600. I had to ask four times how much I was getting for a trade-in. They are very pushy salesman, they do only worth $1000 when KBB.com put it at $2600. I had to ask four times how much I was getting for a trade-in. They are very pushy salesman, they don't care about the customer nor the customers experience. More
I was looking for a new Camaro 2SS and wanted to pay a fair price. I live in Albany, NY and the dealers around here were just incredibly unhelpful (one even tried to convince me that a 2SS was a $60,000 c fair price. I live in Albany, NY and the dealers around here were just incredibly unhelpful (one even tried to convince me that a 2SS was a $60,000 car and that I should just get a ZL1 at that point). I broadened my search and I'm so glad I did. Glenn responded with the lowest quote through TrueCar. I was expecting to get lowballed and tricked somehow but it never happened. Glenn honored his quote no questions asked. I bugged him just about every day after we came to an agreement and he was polite and helpful every step of the way. They found the exact car I wanted, acquired it from another dealer and removed the racing stripes (which I didn't want) free of charge. There were a few very minor hiccups, I wanted to pick the car up on Saturday and due to a few difficulties beyond Glenn's control we didn't get the car until Wednesday but we never had to drive out to CT once. Cargill delivered the car for free with a full tank of gas, handled the setup of my insurance and included money for a car wash, and even after signing all the paperwork Glenn kept in touch to make sure I was satisfied and answered any questions I had. These guys are fantastic, I will definitely be coming back - if you're looking for a new Chevy, ask for Glenn Morin, this guy knows how to treat a customer! More
Regarding Cargill Auto Wholesale: I called in advance to specifically check the availability of two cars I wished to test drive, and got confirmation that both would be available for me. I drove 45 mins ou specifically check the availability of two cars I wished to test drive, and got confirmation that both would be available for me. I drove 45 mins out there to find that one could not be sold as it had a safety issue (bad transmission) and the other had been taken on trade a week prior, but had not been serviced. The tires were not roadworthy and the interior was disgusting. And both these cars were listed for sale with a price based on who-knows-what, but definitely not saleable. The gentlemen were nice and friendly, but I wasted 2.5 hours of my Saturday. This inattentiveness does not bode well for the rest of the operation. Too bad. More
Recently had to have emissions done. Unfortunately this is one of the few places in the area that does it. I already refuse to have them service anything due to prior bad experiences and blatant damage. Du is one of the few places in the area that does it. I already refuse to have them service anything due to prior bad experiences and blatant damage. During emissions they tried to sell me all kinds of junk and claimed they diagnosed my car, saying it needed new tires among other things (yet it passed). What they didn't know is the tires were brand new, less than two weeks old. Not sure how you miss that when your trying to upsell. After so many bad experiences and lies, I will never return to any Cargill facility. More
I Found a used truck that was within my budget at this dealership. I drove an hr 45 mins on a Saturday afternoon to see this truck. I originally worked with Brian - he was alright. I could not get an exac dealership. I drove an hr 45 mins on a Saturday afternoon to see this truck. I originally worked with Brian - he was alright. I could not get an exact price out of him after asking a couple times. He finally quoted me a price so we got all the paperwork together and then I drove home to show my wife. When I got home the price listed online was much lower than our "agreed" on price. I called them that Monday to ask about this difference and Brian had to talk to his boss Bob. They lowered the price so I told them I'd have to think about it... I called back on Tuesday and spoke with Bob. He changed the price again. I wanted the truck so I agreed on the price. My wife and I went down on wednesdayto seal the deal. We traded our jeep in for the truck. They put the plates from the jeep on the truck which were in my wife and my name...We drove home that day. When I called my insurance she said what they did was wrong by putting the plates in my wife and my names to the truck financed only in my name. She even called Bob and spoke with him. He was very rude to her saying she didn't no the laws and that he wanted to speak with her manager... We waited a week for them to bring the new plates and get the vehicle registered... I drove back down after the week with a friend.... Bob made up a story that day saying someone went to get the plates and to call him around lunch. We hung around the area until noon and then went back to the dealership. Once again they didn't have the plates and no explanation for it. I asked that he write down on paper what he was going to do and sign it. I didn't think that was asking too much. He refused to do it and was extremely rude... Even my friend said that I shouldn't be treated that way.. He said he didn't care where I drove from, how long I had been waiting or that I didn't have a car to drive to work... I then said I was going to seek out my legal rights and turned to leave... bob said "come here, come here, come here"... I said no... He proceeded with, "what do you think I'm going to hit you??" I waited for what he had to say.. He told Brian to write down on paper that they drive to pick-up my truck, get it registered put a trailer hitch ,that i paid to have then put on and then bring it back by Saturday.... I got it back the following Tuesday... What an experience.. I wouldn't wish this on my enemy... More

Paul was great to work with. He spent a good amount of time showing us multiple cars on multiple lots until we found the car that fit our needs and budget. Everyone was very accommodating and I appreciate time showing us multiple cars on multiple lots until we found the car that fit our needs and budget. Everyone was very accommodating and I appreciate all the help I received today, and would recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a GM. More
I bought a Chevy Tahoe and was sure that all the promises and extras like picking up my car at the house, free car wash, unreal price on car wax for 5 years would have a catch. The staff is always courteous and professional and the service is thorough. I was surprised to be charged for a brake check as your tire rotations are usually free for me with an oil change and a coupon. service is thorough. I was surprised to be charged for a brake check as your tire rotations are usually free for me with an oil change and a coupon. This would make me hesitate before I ask the service department to check on a concern in the future. I have had my vehicle maintained at other service stations and have never been charged as such. I purchased my vehicle at Cargill and would expect you'd like me to purchase another vehicle in the future. You may profit from the $50 charged now for a routine check but will lose thousands on a brand new vehicle purchase if you continue to charge for those things most places do as a courtesy. More
