He was very knowledgeable about the two vehicles we were looking at - the Mazda 6 and Mazda CX-9 - and pointed out key differences and features each had. We ended up purchasing the CX-9 and absolutely love it! Omar also did an excellent job in following up with us after our purchase to make sure we were satisfied and that we got in to get our windows tinted since that was promised as part of the deal. We definitely recommend Cardinale Way and Omar!!! Thank you for such a GREAT experience!! More

Shopping for a vehicle at Cardinale Way Mazda was a very enjoyable experience. Omer was very helpful and was able to provide me with some very insightful information during and after our test drive. My experience at Cardinale Way Mazda was excellent. Everyone worked hard to find a vehicle with the exact features I was looking for. Daisha was welcoming and helpful throughout the process, which I really appreciate in a salesperson; I didn't feel pressured at any point, which made the decision to purchase my vehicle from her an easy choice. She was informative, offered a fair price, and was determined to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Outstanding experience and very quick. From the moment the Sales person (Bill) greeted me to the time I knew I had been approved for the deal, it couldn't have been more than 45 minutes! Having said this, they didn't leave me with the feeling of shoving me through their process. They took the time to make sure the vehicle was what I wanted and were very empathetic towards my concerns about having to bring any vehicle back to the dealership due to an unapproved deal. I met with Tim in Finance next who was very honest, upfront and reassuring. He took the time to walk me through every aspect of my contract and made sure I had the two things I had consistently mentioned were non-negotiables for me (Gap and Extended Warranty). In addition, knowing of my continuing concerns about having to return the vehicle, my Sales contact, Bill called me the following week to tell me my old car had already been sold and that I could use that as proof that I would not have any concerns with keeping this car (which I love by the way!). The whole experience was the most quick and painless car purchase experience i've ever had. This dealer is credible, friendly and interested in more than your hard earned money! We bought both a Mazda 3 (Auto) and 6 (Manual) from this dealership in one transaction. First, we asked for dealer quotes on Edmunds.com. Gary Johnson was my initial contact for the dealership. On impulse, my wife and I went to the lot to test drive the cars. Gary was not there, but the salesperson (who is not listed on this site and whose last name I cannot remember) was able to find both cars quickly. Although this person was knowledgeable and friendly, his sales technique was too forceful for our taste and therefore, we decided to work solely with Gary. Through email and occasional phone calls, we agreed on "out-the-door" prices that I felt were very fair. During this process, Gary was very helpful and friendly. And while he was certainly attentive, I did find him obtrusive in any way. Ultimately, we turned down a slightly better price (approx. $200) because of our experience working with Gary. I did not provide the highest ratings for "Customer Service" and "Overall Experience" for the following reasons. 1) As mentioned, the style of the first salesman we encountered, while not unpleasant, did not suit our taste. For example, when we returned from the test drive, he jokingly told us we loved it when we would have rather him ask us what we thought. 2) The initial "out-the-door" Mazda 3 quote that Gary provided through email was based off of the MSRP price and included a $500 "Automate" charge (in addition to the $500 dealer doc fee). At this point in the process (we had all-but decided to buy the 6 already), I was not happy to receive a quote that was thousands of dollars higher than the average price paid listed on several online sources. It was chalked up to a communication error between Gary and the sales manager. Regardless, it was only when I responded negatively that I was offered a quote that waived the "Automate" charge and was competitively priced. 3) When finalizing the purchase, the sales manager was too pushy with his pitch to sell the additional service plan. Worse, he seemed evasive about the total cost of the plan. It took several relatively polite requests and a rude one in order to buy the cars at our previously established "out-the-door" price. Despite these concerns, we are happy with our experience dealing with Cardinale Way Peoria and would recommend Gary Johnson as a contact person. More
Just wanted to say what a great experience I had purchasing a car at Cardinale Mazda Peoria. I had researched what car I wanted for months leading up to the purchase. I knew what color I wanted and purchasing a car at Cardinale Mazda Peoria. I had researched what car I wanted for months leading up to the purchase. I knew what color I wanted and their website showed one on the lot. I went Friday evening and spoke with Austin about the car. He had Sam walk the lot with me until we the found the car I was looking for. Looked over and then went inside to discuss the sale. Austin hit me with an offer I seriously would be stupid to refuse. Between my trade in offer and the sale price of the car, I got everything I wanted. I couldn't complete the transaction that night and asked Austin if he would honor the dealer in the morning. Without hesitation, he said yes. I showed up the next morning and the car I wanted was waiting up front. Sam met me as soon as I pulled in and we finalized the deal. Austin had kept his word and the deal from the previous night was still valid. Sam was professional and easy to work with. He worked quickly to get the paper work filled out and explain everything as he went along. Payment went smoothly and I was in my new car in under 3 hours. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for the positive experience. More

Based on the pricing research I did before my visit to Cardinale Way; I felt I was given a great price on my new 2014 CX-5. I was also given a very fair value for my trade-in. All-in-all, I would recommend anyone looking for a new Mazda to ask for Gary. He'll take good care of you. Thanks Gary! More
