My wife and I have never had a more enjoyable experience buying a car. From Phil's first hello, to the walk through of features as we took delivery, we were treated wonderfully. I would gladly refer friends and family to deal with Cardinale Way Mazda. And, I would certainly go there again myself. More
I was shopping for a new car online and comparing Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. I asked for price quotes from several dealers in the Phoenix Valley. Cardinaleway Mazda responded in a much more 3, Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. I asked for price quotes from several dealers in the Phoenix Valley. Cardinaleway Mazda responded in a much more satisfactory way than all but one other dealer. When Greg Limbeck from Cardinaleway called me he was very genuine and seemed to be more concerned about me getting all the info I wanted than trying to "sell" me something I was not ready for. When Cardinaleway sent me a link to MazdaCommunity.org I found several videos about Mazda I had never seen before. After watching the Mazda videos I eliminated the Corolla and Civic from consideration. Cardinaleway had a Mazda 3 in stock the way I wanted so I emailed Greg Limbeck and scheduled a test drive. Everyone at Cardinaleway Mazda was friendly and could answer my questions without pressuring me to buy. I actually had to say that I wanted to buy the car! The paperwork process was painless and they handled my Credit Union's document requirements which made the financing much more convenient. I highly recommend the Mazda 3 and CardinaleWay Mazda is a great place to do business. More

I was contacted by Michael Sprouse regarding a posting I had on Craigs list, sell my car. Michael said" If you stop by, I will get an estimate on your car, make you an offer. Then we can see if you like any had on Craigs list, sell my car. Michael said" If you stop by, I will get an estimate on your car, make you an offer. Then we can see if you like any cars or trucks on our lot. If so, I will give you a great price on your new car, hassel free and let's make this the best car buying experience ever. Well.....It was. What a great group of People. The place was amazing, it reminded me of the movie The Truman Story with Jim Carey. They were so pleasant, honest, and made effective use of my time. They explained everyting and were very kind to my children. It was as they acted as a Team VS. greedy commision based car sales people. They were very real not to mention the treatment of my wife and children. No brown nosing, just honest, funny, down to earth good people. I will tell everyone I know to go to Cardinale Way mazda. Greg, Al,John, and Michael amde buying a car an experience I would welcome again. These guys are true pro's. This place changed the way I had always felt about car buying. Thank you everyone at Cardinale Way Mazda, The Sanders Family which is now part of the Cardinale Way family Mesa AZ More
Sorry there is no #@*$ NO for would you recomend this dealer. Don't get me wrong Donny has been good. I told them if you want me to buy this car them you need to hold my Down payment check till I get pai dealer. Don't get me wrong Donny has been good. I told them if you want me to buy this car them you need to hold my Down payment check till I get paid. Well the next day the check cashed. This over drafted my account, locking my bank accounts. Greg was getting mad at me because I wanted them to fix this like now. Finnaly after leaving work to go down there and make a big deal they acted like they would take care of this. Of coarse I got Overdraft fees and my checking account has negative marks now. Greg says its the bank that should fix that. Well they were the ones that messed it up to beging with. I have been down there 5 times now to get my money. Every time it seems nobody can find it. It has been three weeks now and it's not even about the money but the principle that I have wasted so much time trying to stay on top of them about this. On more than one account they were going to bring me check to my work. Never happened. They have told me a few times to drive over after work and nothing. Wouldn't be as bad but one of the office staff told me this happened to some one else the same day. This is your fault Mazda take care of it. And not 3 weeks later. They offered me a free oil change finnaly. But from how this place has impressed upon me and the reviews I have read that might be a really bad idea too. I shouldn't be the one running around fixing what is 100% their fault. I wish I could just Void this entire deal and get my old vehicle back. Guys a half hearted sorry! That's for when you step on your girlfriends toe dancing. Not this. I can't express the frustration I feel. Looking back I should have eneded this deal then and walked away. Soon hopefully they will just be out of business. UPdate. It's been a month now and I just found out that they messed up my trade in as well. I just received a call saying I still have a balance on my old car to pay on. How much worse of a job can you guys do?. Not to mention my car is missing an important part that attaches to the underside of the hood that they didn't tell me about. now I have to go spend more money to special order this part so my car doesn't overheat in the summer. I have yet to get any response from these guys now that they have my money. 11/30/09. Well last week I added to this. I got a response almost instantly from the dealership. Since then nothing. I have sent a few emails to more than one manager, I texted Greg like they asked me too. Not a single response from the Dealership. They sent me a message that they will get this all fixed (same thing Mr Baker told me but havn't heard from him either). That's great but they have not acted on anything yet.I could sit behind a desk all day and promise people the world too and then just never act on it. I am so sick of this and just want it to be over but you lazy, sacks of xxxxxx won't just fix it. I think this weekeend I'm going to make some signs and picket there dealer ship. Everyone should know how terrible they are at taking care of the customer. 12/09/09. I have met with the GM and I guess he had no idea any of this was going on. Lucky for you guys Donny was on it and got this all fixed. Donny was the one at the begining of the sale and I liked working with him. It's too bad Greg messed all of this up. If I do come back I will only be working with Don. More
I purchased a new Mazda 3 series from this dealership. The 2 problems that I have had since the car was new are still not repaired. The car has a bad transmission whine and an instrument panel rattle. The The 2 problems that I have had since the car was new are still not repaired. The car has a bad transmission whine and an instrument panel rattle. The dealership is saying that now the car is out of warranty, they will not fix it. These are the same 2 problems that the car has been brought to their service dept. to fix. They are still not fixed. I wish I would have read these internet warnings about this dealership before I purchased the car from them. More
I went in to buy a used Mazda3 hatchback. Dustin, the Sales Rep, was very helpful in letting me look around the cars as well as finding the cars that I had on a printout from Cars.com. I had two trade in Sales Rep, was very helpful in letting me look around the cars as well as finding the cars that I had on a printout from Cars.com. I had two trade ins that had a bit of negative equity but John and Dustin were more than helpful in looking into what they could do. The next day, I came in to run my credit and hopefully finalize my deal. They ran my credit and it came back a bit lower than anticipated. I would have left right there with the intention to come back a few months later after working out some things on the credit but a man from the bullpin came and introduced himself to us and sat down at our table. He then proceeded to recommend to us that we file for bankruptcy because of our low credit score which will get rid of all of our collections and debit. I promptly told him that I had no trouble paying our bills and that filing for bankruptcy was a stupid idea. I took my wife and left, never looking back. Like I said, the salesman and sales manager where very nice and helpful but the quote PERSONAL FINANCE COUNSELOR end quote was a big joke. You don't tell people to file for bankruptcy to fix things when you know nothing about them. Shame. I really liked that dealership but now I will try my luck somewhere else. More
well you read my other post....but i must agree with you. having spent time at the dealership....they have their heads way up their xxxxx. they tried to overcharge me when i was buying my car....i called e having spent time at the dealership....they have their heads way up their xxxxx. they tried to overcharge me when i was buying my car....i called em on it and they fixed it. "oh, i don't know how that happened!" they said. yes, this was during our taped session. make sure you check their paint work. it's horrible. as per my other post....they are redoing it. i will demand gas money if this starts to happen more often. they are giving me a rental, which is good, but i will not pay for the gas i use. it's not my mistake. and my salesman wasn't sure about why they put the front plates on.....since they have them fixed out of their own pocket. but once you see the work done, you'll know why. it's cheap and pathetic. and i just got my oil changed....with 3478 on the car. it was free. you don't have to stick to their schedule. just make the appt. and go in. oh, and that card they send you is apparently worthless. i handed mine to the service guy and he said all the info was in the computer already and it wasn't needed. wth am i carrying it around for then? and their courtesy wash.....horrible. i used to detail cars at a caddy/toyota dealership. wow, they did and crap job. i'm redoing it tomorrow at my own place. i think i'm gonna start to tackle the oil changing myself. that way i know what goes in, etc. they didn't list what brand of oil on the sheet. when i asked, they said they use "what is recommended for that model of car." nice general answer, idiot. anyhoo....on to more ranting! ps - just stay away from this dealership. they are too young and have no clue what they're doing. boo them. I purchased a new 2005 Mazda3 at CardinaleWay Mazda, a relatively new dealership (as of summer 2005) located in Mesa, Arizona. I DO NOT recommend this dealership for sales or service for the following rea relatively new dealership (as of summer 2005) located in Mesa, Arizona. I DO NOT recommend this dealership for sales or service for the following reasons: 1) CardinaleWay is the only Mazda dealership in the Phoenix area that installs front license plate brackets on their cars (a front license plate is not required in Arizona, however). On my Mazda3, this required drilling two holes in an otherwise pristine factory-fresh bumper. I had told my salesperson I didn't want the bracket but it was installed anyway. When I complained, the bracket was removed, and the holes were filled and painted by an auto body shop at no charge to me. 2) During my transactions with the finance staff, I was required to sign an agreement waiving my rights to a jury or court trial if I have an unresolved dispute or claim with the dealership. The agreement stipulates that all disputes or claims will be handled by a third-party arbitrator. Of the six Mazda dealerships in the Phoenix area, only CardinaleWay and one other dealership require such an agreement. 3) My transactions with the finance staff were videotaped and recorded. 4) I was overcharged for my vehicle's title and license fees. When I complained, the amount was refunded. 5) I canceled a pre-paid accessory installation before taking delivery of the car. I did not receive a complete refund, however. When I complained, I received a proper refund. 6) My car was not clean nor properly prepped at the time of delivery. The exterior was poorly washed, the engine compartment was very dusty, there was leftover adhesive residue on the car from the shipping covers, and three tires were over-inflated by 7 psi. I also found water spots etched into the roof paint and rear window. I re-washed the car and detailed the engine compartment myself. Because I didn't trust the dealership to do a satisfactory job of removing the water spots, I did it myself, spending two hours in my driveway carefully rubbing out the spots with a special cleaner. 7) FREE OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE: This is CardinaleWay's signature service. I was told by my salesperson that I would be able to have 20 free oil changes for as long as I own my car, and that the 20 oil changes could be done at any time. I asked if I could get a free oil change every 3,000 miles and he answered yes. Apparently my salesperson had briefly stepped out of the dealership’s self-proclaimed “No Lie Zone.” In fact, I signed a form at the time of delivery that limits my free oil changes to Mazda’s maintenance schedule, or every 7,500 miles or six months. I later asked the "Certified Mazda Master Mechanic" service advisor what brand of oil they use. He said he didn't know. -- Soon after the time of delivery I had to have two items on the car fixed under warranty. Both items were supposedly repaired but each item had to be repaired again (at another dealership) because of either poor workmanship or because the wrong part had been replaced. I found the CardinaleWay service department to be totally inept and have since had my car properly serviced at another dealership (Showcase Mazda, Phoenix). -- I wrote a letter to the general manager of the dealership, the dealership owners in California and Mazda's corporate office stating the problems with my experience. I received no replies. More
