We made three visits to Cardinale Way Mazda because we wanted to be sure that we were doing the best thing for our situation. More specifically, we had a CX-9 that we were upside down in and no longer wanted the higher rate and longer term (purchased from a different dealership in a different state). They understood our needs, and took us in the direction that WE wanted to go, and not the one they wanted. That is what a car buying experience should be like. We told them what we wanted, and how we wanted it, and they made it happen without belittling our knowledge, or beating us into submission with a verbal onslaught of hyperbole and persuasion. They also bettered Toyota's offer for the CX-9 by 4k.... quite a big difference for us. Mama Jo was efficient and very kind to us as we finalized the details of the financing. This is my second time purchasing a car from this dealership in less than 2 years, and I have never had such a delightful, stess free car buying experience as these two! The first one I bought was about a year and a half ago. The whole deal was done on the phne as I live about an hour away and said I did not want to go all the way to the dealership unless I knew for sure something would work. At that time, the salesmans name was Mike. My schedule was busy at the time, so Mike actually drove not one, but TWO cars to my place of work in Phoenix! (He said I should be able to choose the color in person!!!!) He came prepared with ALL paperwork necessary, AND they got me a rate that was more than I could have ever hoped for! The terms were verbally agreed upon on the phone, and all I had to do was sign papers when he arrived with my new car! OUTSTANDING customer service...NO pressure at all...I felt completely at ease...something that I have never felt in a dealership before! Then, a year and ahalf later I get a call from Jim Jones asking if I would be interested in getting into a brand new 2010 if he could keep my payments relatively close to what I was paying. Well, not only did he do that, but he dropped my interest rate from 4.9% to 2.9%!!! I live way over in central Phoenix, but it was well worth going all the way over there (the second time I did drive over, but was happy to) I highly recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a new car and wants to avoid the sharks that lurk at many dealerhips. One last note, I am a woman, which I have found in car shopping other places equals an easy target for many dealers. That was not the case at all here...I felt 100% respected. GREAT SERVICE!!! UPDATE: I was contacted Mazda Extened Protection Plan (MEPP) after an email inquiry and was informed that they don't use an underwriter (or at least not Fidelity Warranty Service). So, I was misled durin (MEPP) after an email inquiry and was informed that they don't use an underwriter (or at least not Fidelity Warranty Service). So, I was misled during my sale and a subsequent discussion after the sale. The cost for MEPP on my car was about half. Caveat Emptor Overall, I had a good experience, Ramone Adami was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was all the staff I had the pleasure to encounter. I do not dicker on price as much, but the deal I was offered was reasonable, though I suspect I could have negotiated a slighty better price. My only issue would be lack of understanding on my part, that the Mazda Extended Protection Plan (MEPP) is managed through an underwriting company. Jo Senatore patiently explained this to me (the woman who took care of the finance portion of the sale). When I had the opportunity I dig a little, all I could get was that, yes MEPP is indeed underwritten, but as to who the underwriters are, I was unable to verify. I would put the onus on Mazda to make this information better available, to enable buyers to determine the veracity of the dealership. More

After registering with TrueCar.com, he promptly called to arrange an appointment. At the dealership, Ken proved to be knowledgeable of the CX-9 (the model we purchased). He gave a good rundown of the car's features and benefits and answered all of our questions. The best part of the experience was that there was no haggling on the price - CWM honored the price quoted by TrueCar.com. Finally, while we were waiting to complete paperwork with the Finance person, Ken used the spare time to program the Bluetooth functionality in our car which I was dreading having to do on my own. All in all, it was a great car buying experience. More

I believe Joe and Roger were great to deal with, no pressure, informative and made selection easy. Finance woman, "Momma" was just the opposite.
