Corrie helped me sell my car to Cardinaleway this week, and she did a fantastic job. She was professional and at the same time very kind and friendly. I've haven't always had the best experience with car d and she did a fantastic job. She was professional and at the same time very kind and friendly. I've haven't always had the best experience with car dealerships, but my experience with Corrie and Cardinaleway Mazda was absolutely wonderful. Cardinaleway Mazda is lucky to have her. More

sales team - Matt Shelton was excellent, no pressure, friendly, professional. Donnie (GM) was responsive at first, then it became obvious he and the Controller are not on the same page. I was supposed friendly, professional. Donnie (GM) was responsive at first, then it became obvious he and the Controller are not on the same page. I was supposed to receive a check for the funds due at the end of my sale (5k+), Donnie told me it was in the mail and I'd have it Monday (following Monday from my purchase ) - we were waiting for the title from my sold/traded in vehicle to come in. I said I had the title now, I'll bring it in, he said wait until you have the check. Another week goes by, their controller calls me, yes the check was mailed. It doesnt come 5 days later, I go into the dealer, shes says she "decided not to mail it", I said oh so we just wasted over 2 weeks, she said "you could have called me" !!!! I said, why would I do that, you told me the check was on the way! LOL - do not trust what finance tells you in this office. It's too bad, because Matt is an excellent sales person, they have great inventory, and the place is very nice. Do NOT trust what the money people here tell you. You will get burned. More
I went to test drive the 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5. 0 with 73k miles. If you’ve driven these cars before, even having the V8 they idle very silently. This one, which I have a recording of, clearly has a 0 with 73k miles. If you’ve driven these cars before, even having the V8 they idle very silently. This one, which I have a recording of, clearly has a rod knock or timing chain issue. They stated they did not mechanically inspect the vehicle before the test drive - on top of washing the car and not realizing the trunk seals allowed water in. It reeked of mildew. I had the sales representative bend into the trunk to smell with me - he also agreed it was bad. The pre-owned manager again stated they had not inspected the car prior to the sale or test drive. How is that not a safety concern for a potential client? They then gave me an ASTEONOMICAL $2000+ dollar reconditioning fee, even though they hadn’t reconditioned anything yet. This is on top of a $1000 doc fee. After I said I wasn’t comfortable with the pricing the salesman stated “We have the best pre owned pricing in the valley, usually number 1 or 2, we can budge on pricing at all. With new cars we can adjust but pre owned we can’t budge.” How does that make sense? For old tech and older power train you can’t budge? We aren’t stupid. I respectfully will not do business here, I would also push other potential buyers to consider their position and realize when the dealership may be attempting to take advantage of your financial situation. Think about how many cars someone will purchase in their lifetime - and then who they would recommend to their family and friends to invest into. Find a dealership who thinks like that. More

I found CardinaleWay Mazda in Mesa very deceptive and sleazy. I was interested in a 3 year old Miata with under 2000 miles advertised for $27,995. I asked for the total price out the door and they gave sleazy. I was interested in a 3 year old Miata with under 2000 miles advertised for $27,995. I asked for the total price out the door and they gave me a price of $34,005. I did a little calculating, and that turned out to be $2700 above the advertised price, sales tax and lisence. I asked the sales person about it and he said that there was a $1900 charge for "reconditioning" that was added on to the advertised price. That is on a car with under 2000 miles. I am not sure what the other $800 was for, but I had already decided that I didn't want to work with a company like that. Had advertised the car for $29,995, I would have probably bought the car. Be very careful when dealing with CardinaleWay. Get everything on paper so that you know what they are actually charging. Better yet, buy eslewhere. More
