I attemped to call the general manager many times and was either put on hold for a long time or was put into his voice box and He would never return my calls. Its amazing when your there to buy a car the staff is very friendly but as soon as you have a problem with your car, you never get the time or day. More
First of all, I went to CarVision in order to help my son purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee on June 10, 2010. The first person we met was Andrew Galbally, a young & technically competent salesman, who gave us purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee on June 10, 2010. The first person we met was Andrew Galbally, a young & technically competent salesman, who gave us a tour of the lot. When we went inside, he introduced us to the sales manager, Travis Lindenmoyer, who gave us an overview of the entire operation. Our first impression was extremely positive. The salesroom was very spacious and clean. We could tell that teamwork was in evidence at this dealership & was a concept encouraged by Mr. Lindenmoyer. My son traded in an older model of Jeep for a newer one, & the finance manager, Mitch Koenig, made everything pull together. He balanced the interest of the customer with the rules & regulations of the dealership with finesse. We were impressed with his communications skills in dealing with the requirements of the financial institutions on the one hand & the needs of the customer on the other. Overall, I would give this dealership a superior rating, because the personnel bent over backwards to make this a positive experience for the customer & to attempt to accommodate his needs. More
Where do I begin? My recent purchase was my second and LAST at carvision. Very, very long story short, I traded two luxury vehicles in for one with the intention of saving money... but the nightmare that LAST at carvision. Very, very long story short, I traded two luxury vehicles in for one with the intention of saving money... but the nightmare that occurred after has cost me time, energy, and MONEY! I was sold a crappy MB C-Class, and when it was discovered to be unsafe they refused to even acknowledge there anything wrong. They say they stand by their vehicles 100% by offering a 30 day/1000 mile warranty with every car... After only a day of driving the car, I realized there was a grinding and scraping noise coming from the wheels. Now, I am not a mechanic nor do I assume to be, but this was not my first car and not my first C-Class... and I know when a noise is NOT normal. When I brought my car in for service, after a full day of "maintenance", it was returned with the paperwork stating that my powersteering fluid was topped off. Powersteering fluid? Come on! I took my car to MBenz dealership to be looked at. It was discovered that the brake rotors were well under spec, the brake pads were bad, and that there was 4 different brands of tires on the car. I then brought back the car back for service at carvision annd told them to specifically check the rotors and wheels... I even had a tech drive with me to verify the noise. He did, and he said he would take care of it personally. I picked up the car and it stated that the front tires were alittle "choppy" and were rotated. And the brakes were deemed "all good" All good huh? Now when anyone goes to Pep boys or some other servie center, they are always presented with paperwork with gauge measurements, and other information idicating (verifying) that work was ACTUALLY completed. But no, not at carvision, a simple printout with the words "ok", "fine", and "all good". At this point, frustrated does not sufficiently quantify how I was feeling. I spoke to the service manager and he referred me to the GM, Dennis to answer my questions. I spoke to the GM the next day... I had to call myself even though I had left a message for him to call me. The conversation began well, until I told him what I thought he needed to do to correct all the problems. New tires, new brakes... that's it. That's all it would have taken to make me happy and satisfied. However, this is not what he wanted to hear as he began to get defensive. Defensive because he is a "reasonable and reputable man". I obviously insulted him personally by questioning the vehicles he sells. He refused to accommodate any requests, treated my wife and me with complete indifference and incompetence, and defrauded us as consumers. He ended our phone call by hanging up on us... hanging up on US... really? Is this the sign of a mature, professional? Clearly not. Any further contact to him and the dealership was not returned or acknowledged. I have had the repairs done at my cost. There has also been a host of other problems that have cropped up with my car. I have since reported them to the BBB, and I have retained legal counsel to recoup my out of pocket costs to repair my car. So, if you are in the market for a great used car at a great price... DO NOT GO NEAR CAR VISION!!! They are the biggest fraud I have ever encountered. They will lie and lie until they sell a car... they are professional rip-off artists and they deserve any punishment the law provides for, and then some. No matter how good the deal looks or sounds, STAY AWAY! From what I have heard and seen from many others, this is not the first time it has happened at this "Stealership". More
I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry from CarVision last summer and absolutely love it!! I have been bringing it to CarVision for my service needs which it hasn't needed much of besides a few oil changes a summer and absolutely love it!! I have been bringing it to CarVision for my service needs which it hasn't needed much of besides a few oil changes and tire rotations but it was my last visit which really let me know my car was in good hands. I was going on a road trip and figured I would get an oil change and have my car checked to make sure it was safe for the road. Olivia who is one of the employees in the service department was super friendly. She called the technician out from the shop so I could tell them what my concerns were for my trip. I wanted my brakes checked, tire pressure checked and fluids checked while I got my oil changed. I didn't have to be at work until noon so I figured I would wait around. BTW, not a bad place to hang out. Between the plasma tv, comfortable couches and a few computers hooked up to the internet for customer it was like being home. While I was waiting I met one of the service managers, Mike. He came to inform me they noticed the state inspection of my car was about to run out in a few days. He also asked me if I had checked to see if my Toyota had been recalled for the accelerator pedal. I had not so he called Toyota and found it was being recalled. Now I was getting nervous. My car is almost out of inspection, I haven't taken care of the recall and I am going on a road trip in a few days. To make a long story short, THANKS to CarVision and their service department everything was taken care of. Between Mike and Olivia they arranged a loaner vehicle for me, they did the inspection and made arrangements to get my car to and from Toyota to have the recall taken care of before I went away. THANKS CarVision!! More

My credit was terrible, but I was in need of a car, and somehow, in some way the finance guys were able to get me an approval, on the car I wanted. I had a lot of problems with my previous car and my only concern was to make sure my new car was in mint condition. Marty the tech personally checked everything to make sure it was in working condition. The car was in a great condition, Marty joked that he would be the car, if i didn't. I will definately go to Carvision the next time I am ready to purchase a car. More

I am delighted by the professional attitude; workmanship and leadership demonstrated by Service Manager, Marty Spitko. I can not imagine a better customer experience. Marty followed up with me at each ste and leadership demonstrated by Service Manager, Marty Spitko. I can not imagine a better customer experience. Marty followed up with me at each step of my Nissan repair. The auto industry is known for poor interactions with women and we are rarely treated as competent during car repair incidents. Marty Spitko is the exception. He was a gentleman, treated me with respect and has EXCELLENT customer service skills. repair. He is a real asset to Car Vision's Service Department that would be hard to replace. More
They sold me a lemon. They knew ahead of time that the engine wiring harness was bad. They said they would fix the problem after the Nissan dealer said the harness needs to be replaced due to all the open engine wiring harness was bad. They said they would fix the problem after the Nissan dealer said the harness needs to be replaced due to all the opens and shorts found by them. I gave to car to Carvision to repair. Well they had the car for 3 weeks and I still have wiring problems and check engine codes. I called them back about this after I got home and they said they were only doing the repair because of their "Good Will" and now they say their "Good Will" has run out. What frauds. I filed a complaint with the States Attorney General and am waiting to hear back from them. Avoid this dealer at ALL COST!!!!!!! More
I went there to buy a decent, dependable used car and was very flexible about what it was I was looking for. At first they were nice and let us test drive two cars we liked. So we decided on a 2002 VW Jetta very flexible about what it was I was looking for. At first they were nice and let us test drive two cars we liked. So we decided on a 2002 VW Jetta will some miles but we were assured the car was in great shape. Its funny they say that since once we took a test drive we noticed the amber ABS light was on. They told us not to worry, if we decide to but the car they will fix that problem and told us to take the car out for an extended test drive. I drove the car right to my local shop to have the car looked at. Right away he noticed the right front axle was damaged and leaking grease. We got a quote for the repair and then drove back to CarVision to see what they could do. They said they would take the cost of the repair off the price. So we decided to buy. During the paperwork we meet Travis, the "floor manager" who tells us the ABS is going to cost to much to repair so take the car or leave it. Since the car was nice as far as we could tell otherwise we bought the car. We then find out days later the car had a bank lien still on it and we would not be able to get the car titled in NY for weeks but someone from the dealer drives to Harrisburg to get the title for us. We then take the car to a VW Dealer to have the ABS light fixed and it is found that its a simple wheel sensor and it was only $90 to fix. Then we find out the car wont pass NY safty inspection since the front struts were assembled wrong and grinding, the wheel bearings are damaged, all the brakes are in need of replacement and the driver side axle needs to be replaced. So we take the car back to Car Vision and we are told all the noise we are hearing and feeling is just a loose oil pan cover that protects the oil pan and they will thighten it and all will be well. Well, the noise still remained and it is found that Car Vision removed the oil pan cover and threw it away. So now all the problems have been fixed with the car but none of it was handled by Car Vision since they only warranted the engine and transmission for 30days and but all of this was within the first two weeks and should have been fixed before selling this car as problem free. We then get a check in the mail from Car Vision because they taxed us on our trade-in cost and then charged us NY sales tax instead of NY state when we went to register the car. The manager Dennis was nice at first but then did nothing about the problems that should have been taken care of prior to selling this unsafe car. The repairs ended up totaling as much as we got for our trade-in. This was all within two weeks of buying the car. They were rude and misleading, they lied to us and then cost us even more money when they threw away a required part of the car. Next time we won't be lied to like CarVision did. Best part is this was all documented and recorded so we can hopfully we can get some of our money back in court. More

I had to bring it in twice for some repairs including a brake master cylinder and a front suspension repair. On both occassions my warranty covered all of the expenses exept a $50.00 deductable, each time. The service department treated me great both times, and waived the $90.00 diagnostic fee's since I purchased the car from them. They also handled all of the paper work with the warranty company eliminating all of the "red tape" involved for me, the customer. I could not have asked for a better experience and plan on buying my next vehicle from this organization in the future. More
