Traded a 2000 Lexus RX 300 for 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee at their Hatfield Branch. Good people, nice experience, I would recommend and return for future. oI have not experienced their service department y at their Hatfield Branch. Good people, nice experience, I would recommend and return for future. oI have not experienced their service department yet, a little shy after reading poor reviews but I will check back if I decide to go. Overall a very nice experience. I agree that the vehicles manuel would be very helpful; apparently they do not supply. Our sales persons said they would 'trek one down' and send it to me.....that never happened. We also asked for a cargo cover (the salesperson agreed to help find one as future jeeps arrived). This feature was very important to my wife, not so much me; we haven't seen the cargo cover yet, nor do I expect one given the feedback I read here........ More
I purchased a 2008 Explorer, it had a transmission problem that required the trans be removed to be repaired. Carsense worked with the local ford dealer to fix and get my SUV back to me quickly. I did problem that required the trans be removed to be repaired. Carsense worked with the local ford dealer to fix and get my SUV back to me quickly. I didn't have the extended Carsense warranty but they gave me a loaner to use anyway. The Explorer has been great ever since the repair a year ago. Very happy with it and Carsense Exton. More
Worst experience in dealing with a car dealership. Would not recommended to anybody. Buyer Beware. My experience has been a lot of double talk, you have to decifer what they are actually saying and ask a not recommended to anybody. Buyer Beware. My experience has been a lot of double talk, you have to decifer what they are actually saying and ask a lot of questions. It has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I wish they had really lived up to their commercials. Please learn from my experience and be cautious in your dealings with Carsense. More
If you are buying a used car make sure you investigate the original vehicle warranty and whether or not it follows the car. I got suckered into spending thousands of extra dollars only to find out the ca the original vehicle warranty and whether or not it follows the car. I got suckered into spending thousands of extra dollars only to find out the car was covered by it's original warranty. I recently traded in the vehicle I bought from carsense and been trying to get the remaining balance of the warranties refunded to me. Even though these policies are through different companies that carsense contracts with, the money goes to carsense and therefore, the refund checks are processed through them. I've had to write/call countless times. I started this process back in october 2011 and have received 2 out of the 3 checks so far. It's been very frustrating to say the least. To first be conned into buying something I didn't need (redundant warranty) and then carsense holding my money for no reason. More
i heard that you could get a no haggle deal on a good car at car sense. maybe i saw the tv commercial. so i went to see what i could find at the one on 309. they had a lot of cars and i found a few that i li at car sense. maybe i saw the tv commercial. so i went to see what i could find at the one on 309. they had a lot of cars and i found a few that i liked actually. the cars all have kelly blue book prices in the window so you can see what kind of deal you are getting...or not getting in most cases. somhow they are manipulating the blue book price and making it much higher than it actually is. i checked like 10 on my phone right on the car lot. i mean its like way too high on every single car. they are total liars. what makes them even worse is they tell you how honest they are and they even put bibles in the cars! thats so sacrilegious its disgusting! omg...these people are really evil. they are such fakes. totally wasted my time. i went to the honda dealer, freed honda and met a nice salesman and bought a certified honda civic. someone should shut tem down at car sense. i can't believe what they do is legal. We bought a 2006 BMW X3 and the salesman was very nice, however he "sold" us on the extended warranty which doesn't cover ANYTHING!! The car has had little things since we bought it and everytime we take however he "sold" us on the extended warranty which doesn't cover ANYTHING!! The car has had little things since we bought it and everytime we take it in for service it ends us costing us a small fortune. They always seem to "find" things wrong with the car - eventhough we have been taking it there since we bought it. I have yet to walk out of there for anything service at all without it costing between $500-1500 each time. Word of warning - do NOT take your car back there for service!! Oh - and about the Bible in the console?? Yea, an owners manual would have been WAY more helpful!! When I tried to figure out how to set the clock I had two choices; go online and look or ask Jesus. Ok, so I read pretty much all of the reviews here and I really don't agree with them. I went to the Carsense in Mt. Holly looking for a used Honda CR-V , which I saw on the internet. Everyone left me alo really don't agree with them. I went to the Carsense in Mt. Holly looking for a used Honda CR-V , which I saw on the internet. Everyone left me alone and allowed me to browse the inventory. Finally, when I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff member named Jesse. We talked about the one I saw on the internet and he allowed me to test drive, inspect and quiz him on the car and the company as well as check the tires. He performed very well. I checked the value of the car via kelly bluebook and edmunds and their price was on point. Now, I will tell you that I am a glass half full kinda of person and I thought there has got to be something wrong here. ( I am also a Lawyer and my husband is a Detective) I waited for the financing to come back at an extreme rate or something with service, but I was disappointed. I got a better rate there then at the dealerships and the service was great. Now the one thing that did cause me pause was that they don't use CarFax. So I went with their version of it and then went home and purchased a Carfax just to see if they were honest...and they were. The CarFax provided the same information that their report did. All in all, I would have to say and neither I nor my husband will go back to a regular dealership again. When I went to them before going to Carsense I left annoyed and frustrated. Leaving Carsense, I felt happy and like I had purchase a good used car at a great price. More

I just wanted to look, buy if I found the right car, and heard there was no pressure i would have loved to buy and get it over with. You could cut the air with a knife in that place. Not what they say in th heard there was no pressure i would have loved to buy and get it over with. You could cut the air with a knife in that place. Not what they say in there commercials at all. I was way more uncomfortable in that place than other dealerships. I finally had enough badgering and i asked to speak with the person in charge. I thought for sure I would be able to engage in a reasonable and professional conversation with the person in charge. I would probably have bought a car if I wasn't so put off. I just needed a good $20,000 4door midsize car for work. Not permitted to browse alone though. If the sales man (actually 2 different ones) didn't annoy me my brain may have worked long enough to make a decision. The head boss was a wierdo to put it mildly. Paranoid, and wreaked of cigarettes. He was not comfortable in his own skin, hiding something, very insecure, yet arrogant...like I owed him an explanation for why I was pissed. Not capable of handling any leadership role. Not even able to carry a professional conversation without trying to trap and manipulate me. I do "Organizational Therapy" and have a degree in Clinical Psychology. This is an un-healthy place. Great business model, abysmal execution. I'll bet this guy would actually sabatoge competent people in his own company that he considered a threat to his position. Wouldn't take much. I thought about introducing myself, i have a national reputation for organizational rehabilitation and recovery. My success rate is vey high and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I love a challenge. I can't help Carsence. I sincerly felt sorry for the people that work there. It's a house of cards. I just wish I hadn't driven over an hour to be so disappointed, and drive home in my old car! Why do so many car dealerships have such incompetance at the core? The people that work there and the people that go there to buy cars deserve something a lot closer to a "genuine" experience. That's my pet peeve, phonies frauds and cowards. I'm not angry, it's just so dissapointing and sad. More
We recently purchased an SUV from CarSense. I get the no-haggle, and the vehicle was probably fairly priced. But the service department proved to be incompetent. All we wanted was for the interior to be no-haggle, and the vehicle was probably fairly priced. But the service department proved to be incompetent. All we wanted was for the interior to be clean, and it was part of the condition of the sale. We took the car back 3 times for detailing service. The first time we came back for the pick up, the car was not ready and no one called to inform us. When the car came back, all of the soiled parts were still dirty. How difficult could shampooing seats be? We took it back a second time, and the car came back with similar results. CarSense offered to work on it a third time and we declined. It was obvious that the service department had no respect for their own work or for their customer's time. I'm going to spend my own money and get the car detailed at a knowledgeable place. If they can't even get a shampooing right, I feel sorry for the poor souls that have to get mechanical services there. Recently we realized there was a small cover missing from the roof rack mount. We called in to inquire about it since we are still within their 6 month "fix all" period. No one ever called back. The SUV is mechanically sound, but I would never give my business to CarSense again. And if you don't enjoy anguish over your dealer's incompetience, neither should you. More
