Several times our salesman just left us at his desk while he was outside chasing down other sales..The girl across from him sold 3 vehicles in the time it took us to purchase ours.. He screwed up our pape he was outside chasing down other sales..The girl across from him sold 3 vehicles in the time it took us to purchase ours.. He screwed up our paperwork (last name, address, phone number) after we requested multiple times for corrections.. We did not like the interest rate of the first quote so I requested he run it again a second time with my husband added on as a co-signer to try and get a better rate..He seemed very annoyed that we were making him work and not just handing over our money.. We requested a 2nd key for the vehicle from our sales guy, and ended up having to complain about our lack of service to the finance and service guys..They ended up bringing the key for us.. The entire experience took us 3+ hours to get out of there, very nice car but our salesman left us very unimpressed, most likely will not return in the future More

This is all about how I was treated by Service Manager & a reflection of the "they can do no wrong" philosophy of Car Sense, in general, I believe. After a purchase on Jul 31, 2012 of a used 2002 Silverad & a reflection of the "they can do no wrong" philosophy of Car Sense, in general, I believe. After a purchase on Jul 31, 2012 of a used 2002 Silverado 4X2 pickup truck....10 months later- I called to tell them that after only driving 1866 mi. since purchase, the brakes failed- had to push so far down on the brake pedal that the vehicle barely stopped, luckily at the parking lot of my job. My husband & a friend examined the brake lines & they were completely rust, rust, rust. I have photgraphs! I called & spoke to the Service Manager at another Car Sense location since they transferred call as Manager was out where vehicle was purchased. I was told that unless there was a leak, state inspections says it passes and what did I expect since the vehicle was 14 years old! (actually 11) I said I could not drive it there- he said, well, have it towed. I said could you give me an estimate of the cost for repair. He said No as they have to make the brake lines for this old truck & he doesn't know what will also be involved. He would try to help me but if I didn't like that he could put me on the phone with their lawyer. His tone was bossy & condescending whenever I spoke to say I am disappointed in the performance since I kept it garaged and did not drive it all that many miles & was aware it was out of warranty, but was shocked that the brake lines could be so badly deteriorated, rust-covered & would have been that way on July 31, 2012 when I bought it. I felt I was being bullied & belittled by all of his replies, told to listen to him when he spoke! I paid $8,950., including tax, fees, etc. came to $9,709. for this vehicle. I will have it repaired elsewhere & have received a quote. I know it is old although it only had 53,743 mi at time of purchase. I did not receive a Bible with it at time of purchase as is their policy with new/newer? purchases. While I realize they complied with state regulation regarding pass/fail system of inspection, which is their their only legal obligation, as he stated, they certainly did not comply with a moral obligation in providing a driver with a car they would sell to a relative or friend in good conscience. Maybe that's why I didn't get a Bible! Does this make good Car Sense? More
After terrible treatment and misrepresentation with several Kia dealerships (see Yonkers Kia), I saw that CarSense had the car I was looking for (though a year older than I wanted). I inquired online o several Kia dealerships (see Yonkers Kia), I saw that CarSense had the car I was looking for (though a year older than I wanted). I inquired online on Saturday March 2nd and almost immediately I received a phone call from Tim Brown. Within a couple minutes, Tim Brown gave me my out-the-door price and all the info I needed (something I couldn't get from EVERY other dealership). There was no pressure from him and I followed-up with him to schedule a test drive. I came in a few days later on Monday the 4th for a test drive (I was also late due to traffic but it was no big deal to Tim). Although he was dealing with a customer, he came over to introduce himself and tossed me the keys for a test drive. I took it out by myself for a test drive and was VERY pleased with the car. Although it was a year older than I wanted, it was in like-New condition. Really couldn't tell it was a used car. Tim told me I could put a deposit down on the car, but only if I was going to buy it. I wanted to think about it overnight so I didn't leave one. The next morning I called Tim (On his day off!) and told him I wanted the car. He took my deposit over the phone and handled everything for me on his day off. Incredible service right there. I had other questions for Tim in the meantime, and he was quick to answer them for me. I arranged financing on my own and Tim handled all the paperwork for me. I got my loan check in the mail on Friday the 8th, emailed Tim and he got right back to me and arranged to pick up the car the next day. I arrived on Saturday the 9th and although it was a busy day, Tim stepped aside to greet me and get me started with paperwork. I inspected the car one last time before I left and Tim came out to shake my hand. After purchasing the car, Tim took care of registering the car for me (I am in NJ) and getting my new plates. Once that was completed, he mailed them to me. I also received a follow-up from him asking how I was doing. Other dealerships take note: THIS is how potential customers should be treated! Don't play games or tell them "you don't have time to be emailing with them." If you treat them respectfully and tell the truth, then they'll become customers. Within 3 minutes of speaking with Tim on the phone, I knew he wanted my business. He doesn't make commission, but he realized I had been through xxxx with other dealerships and gave me all the info and pricing I needed UP FRONT. Tim made my experience buying a car from a dealership (which I never do because of their deception) a pleasant experience. If I purchase another car from a dealership, you better believe it will be from CarSense in Hatfield from Tim Brown. More

I wasn't looking for a car until the transmission stopped working. In the past I had purcashed a few vehicles from Fred Beans and went to see what they had to offer. We also went to see what was av stopped working. In the past I had purcashed a few vehicles from Fred Beans and went to see what they had to offer. We also went to see what was available at Car Sense. To our delight, the inventory was very good. We finally bought the Malibu after realizing the value of the car. Then the transmission showed signs of going in my wife's car. We went thru the same process and she found a Toyota Rav4. I have since referred my mother to Pat. More

Extremely impressed! My wife and I appreciate quality service. So when we dealt with Bumper Burroughs in the purchase of a vehicle, we were amazed with the quality of care we received, and in such an at service. So when we dealt with Bumper Burroughs in the purchase of a vehicle, we were amazed with the quality of care we received, and in such an attentive and friendly manner. This guy does it right! He was professional, down-to-earth, and on top of his game in matching us with just the right car in a very challenging situation. He knew what he was talking about, and gave generously of his time and talent. He was a model of excellence in service that every car buyer would love to deal with. Beyond highly recommended . . . I would demand for this guy! More
First of all, I did NOT buy a car from Carsense. MOST IMPORTANTLY----I wouldn't buy from anyone else!! I decided on an impulse to shop for a new car. I decided on a Chevy Equinox or GMC Terrain. I wen IMPORTANTLY----I wouldn't buy from anyone else!! I decided on an impulse to shop for a new car. I decided on a Chevy Equinox or GMC Terrain. I went to 2 new dealers and carsense. Carsense EXCEEDED my expectation!!! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great selection of vehicles. Clean welcoming environment unlike most car dealer atmospheres. My wife didn't even mind going in there and she HATES going car shopping!! Great website that you can access in the showroom. Pick out your car and they pull it up. They give you a 30 second briefing and you are off on a test drive by yourself. You can shop any and all manufacturers at Carsense, very convenient. Sales staff is never pushing to close. They are just there to help. Easily the best experience I have had at a car dealer and I have bought ALOT of cars!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!! Finally, the reason I din't buy a car was because it made the most financial sense to stick with what I have. The kicker??? My salesman didn't openly dispute it and try to push me to buy. Can't wait to get back there soon to buy from carsense. More
