We brought it in for service, and it took multiple trips to have the job done correctly. They first told us there as no problem with the door. Now we have had our Toyota in three times to have the struts replaced. The car had no problems at the 60,000 mile service, less than a month ago. They told us struts needed to be replaced, so we paid the $1500 to do this. The car sounded horrible. We took it to Car Sense in Hatfield. They rode in the car for just a moment and said the struts were bad but that it had to go back to Chester Springs because they use different suppliers. So, we returned to Chester Springs and they were replaced a second time. The car still sounded horrible. So we returned a third time. They once again admitted the struts were bad and replaced them again. Through this they have remained courteous. Once again, the car sounds horrible. We had it looked at at another garage today. They say the struts are bad and need to be replaced. Car Sense is offering nothing, and we have no money to replace them again. We looked at trading for a new car, but with having already paid $1500 for service we have no money for a down payment. So, we will never deal with Car Sense again. Tomorrow I'm going to talk with he next level up manager to see if we can get a refund. This type of service is unacceptable. More

After insisting that my son travel to the dealership to assist me with my purchase, he was as pleasantly surprised as I that he did not have to be there. Why not? It was NOT the pressured, unpleasant expe assist me with my purchase, he was as pleasantly surprised as I that he did not have to be there. Why not? It was NOT the pressured, unpleasant experience that is the car buying situation where I would want him as backup. Historically, when I've gone to purchase a car, new or used, there is the salesmanship pressure, the sometimes misleading information, and general - often unpleasant- feelings and experiences. I've walked out of dealerships in the past because of the ridiculous statements made by sales people to convince me I should by a particular car. I am not stupid, nor do I enjoy aggressive posturing. In CONTRAST, all the employees at Car Sense were professional, polite, and caring. No pressure, no hype. It was a great experience. I arrived, I purchased, and I left with a wonderful vehicle that has proved to be a joy. I was so pleasantly surprised that I am motivated to write this review. The sales manager, Ryan Addeo, and the salesman, Jon Seiler, couldn't have been more helpful, honest, and kind. They have my highest recommendation and respect. Thank you, Car Sense! More
I bought a 2009 subaru from them about 9 months ago. The paint is peeling and even though I bought the best warranty they have, they are not going to fix it. This is why I would not recommend them or buy paint is peeling and even though I bought the best warranty they have, they are not going to fix it. I've been scanning A LOT on DealRater, and after I've been scanning A LOT on DealRater, and after visiting even the TOP RATED dealers according to this site, NONE of them compared to CARSENSE sales I've been scanning A LOT on DealRater, and after visiting even the TOP RATED dealers according to this site, NONE of them compared to CARSENSE sales & customer service! I went to both Hatfield & Chester Springs and both were great. In Hatfield, I was helped by Angella Pietrowski. Never pushy, just informative, pleasant, and very helpful. I bought a car from Chester Springs about 5 years ago and kept them in mind ever since. This time I was shopping for a Honda Pilot. It took a few months of research & shopping before deciding on a particular model & year. I first visited for a pilot in November of 2012, Jeff Treon helped me. When I came back 5 months later to buy in April, Jeff remembered my name & what I was looking for, and several sales consultants were very welcoming - EVEN AFTER I told them I was already being helped by someone, which I thought was great. When I put the vehicle on hold over the phone, it was Jeff's day off, but he made himself available even from home. The guy in the cubicle next to Jeff, his name was Steve Greer, was willing to help gather some faxes and print outs even though he wasn't selling me anything. I really like that they let you test drive on your own and do their best to accommodate in any way. The guy who did the paper work, Dominique Roth, was polite, went over everything in an easy to understand organized way. I'll be buying from Carsense again in the future. And if you haven't experience it yet, you really should. -----------------One Criticism------------------ THE GARAGE: I was helped by Stu & Neil. Both were great guys, and seemed to really want to help. Its the person doing the work in the garage that's the issue. When the vehicle was turned over to me, it smelled funny, so I looked under the seat and found dog hair. I was ok with this because I asked for a rush delivery date, because the SUV was an anniversary gift for my wife. They gave me a "We owe You" slip. NO PROBLEM coming back at all!! BUT … When I came back a 2nd time for a more thorough detailing, I waited and was expecting it to take a while. When they returned it to me quickly, I thought to myself, there's no way they did a good job. Sure enough, when I looked closely there was still dog hair underneath the back seat - SAME SPOT, stains in the trunk area, and the dash board & seats untouched. When I brought it to the manager's attention, he was accommodating and apologized. They took it back again. I told him I had no problem staying till the end of the day if that's what it took for the job to be done right. They returned it to me a 3RD TIME, and now I had shampood seats, stains out of the trunk area, but dog hair still under the seat, dashboard driving area untouched. What a waiste of a day. I went and did it myself afterwards. I think the way they treat customers is flawless, and they would even accommodate if you're unhappy, but it's the person in the garage doing the work that is rushing. Maybe it's because they have so much to do and they're spread thin? not sure, but there's no way I would go there for service if they can't handle a job with me having to send it back. All this being said, I'm still a loyal customer, and still advertise the business to friends & family. More
