Couple weeks later we heard an awful sound coming out of the car, took it to Nissan and were told it was 2.5 quarts low of tranny fluid. They checked the car further for any leaks with negative results. Then had problems with keeping the car running, etc. Well 9 months later we were so fed up,with the car and the so called warranty and owing twice what the car was worth, we traded it in and purchased a brand new Chevy from a reputable dealership. Be aware of carmax, and their so called max care warranty they claim to do a 125? Point inspection on their cars they take in, they claim they have a no hassle pricing. Yea no hassle cause they rip you off... More

Nice Experience I was looking for a Honda CRV to tow behind my motor home. 2014 was the last year that was towable. I checked the CarMax site and they showed several I was looking for a Honda CRV to tow behind my motor home. 2014 was the last year that was towable. I checked the CarMax site and they showed several CRV's at the Oxnard facility. When I arrived they only had three. The one I looked at was not even listed. Apparently, they move quickly in and out. I liked a 2013 that was loaded with everything but navigation. It still had about two months/3000 ,iles of original warranty. The car was very cleaned and NICELY detailed. I;m very finicky and things like having the original manuals are important to me. This car had them and I was told, even if it didn't, CarMax's policy is to provide them. The car drove great and I checked the asking price versus NADA pricing. It was about a $1000.00 under NADA. We made the deal I left to go to the local bank to get a cashier's check while my wife provided all of the information for registration. When I returned a few minutes later, we were ready to sign papers and go. his was faster than any dealershop I've been to. It was a pleasant experience. We even recived 3 months of free Sirius XM, a deal made by CarMax with XM. More

A deal was made to trade-in a 2006 car for a cheaper car from Cars 101. Serveral decietful items were added to the contract during and after the sale. The "trade-in" was left in Cars 101's lot as if aband from Cars 101. Serveral decietful items were added to the contract during and after the sale. When the "trade-in" wasn't paid off, we called Cars 101 to inquire as to why and were told that no such deal had ever been made and that the car was sitting in their lot. When we tried to return their car because of their fraudulent dealings ( four days after the purchase) the salesman lied about the agreements and produced falsified papers in an effort to trick us into paying 34 thousand dollars for a 16 thousand dollar car and not paying off the trade-in as agreed. Crooks!! Don't buy from this dealer without your laywer present!! More
