This was the first time I've shopped for myself at CarMax, and the second time I've been involved in shopping here. Even though there always a chance for quirks and issues with used car buying, the fo CarMax, and the second time I've been involved in shopping here. Even though there always a chance for quirks and issues with used car buying, the folks at here have always made every reasonable effort to make things great. In my case, due to a listing issue, they offered other vehicles on the lot, were willing to bring in another vehicle for me to look at, and they offered a reasonable 3rd party add-on to get my original vehicle to match the listing level. After seeing that the alternative vehicle didn't match my main wants, I went with the 3rd party option. I picked and option that did what the listing said, within the rather generous price they offered for the service, and reimbursed my receipt within ten minutes. I couldn't be happier with how diligently they worked to address a rather understandable mistake. I absolutely recommend CarMax to anyone looking to buy a used car, as they stand behind their sales. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle from this dealership! Initially I believed the price of their car was overpriced and my trade was about $5k less than it was worth. I ended up selling my car and purchased their vehicle. My purchase was a super clean ( like new) vehicle with almost no miles on it. I still thought it was overpriced, but have been looking for quite some time and this one stood out above the competition. Having said all that, CarMax philosophy of no haggle was in some ways very refreshing. We didn’t feel any pressure at all to purchase. Our sales person Jaden, was super knowledgeable and extremely professional and polite. He did everything possible to make the buying process enjoyable and was super helpful working with us before and after the sale.
