The worst dealership ever in all my car buying experience. My old car started having problems and I am looking for a new one. I was debating between FIT/civic and accord. A salesmen walked up to us and offer to help but not only he gave us lame info, when I asked for a test drive, he said I cannot test drive unless I have decided to buy today, and I can only test drive 1 car, which means I have to decide what I want to buy BEFORE test driving the car. Later on he also mentioned he's "too busy" today so we can make an appt. and come back later. So I said thanks and I will have another salesman help me. Another salesman came and I told him about the experience and told him if he's just like the other salesman than we rather look on our own. He said "that's awful, I am the manager and let me go talk to that person." He came back after 15 minutes, said he's sorry for what happened and if we need any help, let him know. We asked for a test drive, he have us waited for at least 15 minutes or longer, came back told us they have problem with their parking structure and some car was blocking it and therefore cannot offer us any test drive. It was a Saturday afternoon and we were refused test drive 2 times. This is the worst experience I have ever had in all my car buying experience. If you decided to buy a car at Nelson Honda, make sure you look like you are rich, otherwise no service will be provided. I had one of the best car buying expiriences when I finally got into contact with the internet department at Nelson Honda in El Monte. I was very dissapointed when I called a few of their competing dea finally got into contact with the internet department at Nelson Honda in El Monte. I was very dissapointed when I called a few of their competing dealers when all I would hear was the "come down let me make you a deal" type of sales tactics wich completely turned me off. When I got into contact with Ryan Matzen through the internet department from mynelsonhonda.com, Ryan was very knowledgable, delightful to talk on the phone, and best of all very straight forward and friendly. He knew more about the cars then anyone else I spoke with, and when I met with him he was also the youngest. His manager Art came out and worked with us on the pricing and even traded for the Civic coupe every other dealer told me was "almost impossible" to get. I love my new car, I loved working with Ryan and Art, and NELSON is definitely the only dealership I would recomend to my friends and family. It's so clear when a car dealer has good management, friendly and honest attitude. Everyone hates car buying, but there guys are in this century and know how to treat a customer.
