I've been to many dealers in the area in the past few months looking for a good deal on a new 2011 Civic. On my visits to the other dealers, I was treated poorly by the sales staff due to my young age an months looking for a good deal on a new 2011 Civic. Being in my mid-twenties, those dealers felt they had the right to perceive me as a "sucker" who didn't know anything about cars and their prices and would knowingly mark up the sticker price with nonsensical fees and unnecessary options. But that all changed when I went to Nelson Honda and met with Robert Chow. He treated me fairly, kindly and with respect - just like any other customer that walks in. The rest of the process was fairly easy and I got in and out of the dealer in a reasonable time. I got a good quote from him over the phone before walking in and the dealer honored it without any hassle which was great because the other dealers did not honor their quotes even though I got a truecar price quote from them. All in all, I had a great shopping experience and now, I even have a new beautiful Civic sitting in my driveway. Definitely recommend this dealer and the salesman known as Robert Chow. More

This was my first time buying a car and I can definitely say it was a very good experience. The reason I went to Nelson Honda was because of a referral. To my surprise at Nelson Honda I found a great Sales person “JJ” from the moment I met him he was very friendly, respectful, and patient and made me feel comfortable. He answered every question I had and went through everything I needed to know along with the finance manager “Edwin.” Since I bought my car I’ve gone back a couple of times to Nelson Honda and it surprised me that my sales person and the staff still remembers me and treat me like family. We had been doing our research regarding Honda vehicles and actually went to a Honda dealership in Covina the previous weekend--and walked out. A friend told me of Nelson Honda so I contacted them via the internet. They sent me an immediate quote and we made an appointment to test drive a new car. I was amazed that between the two dealserships - which are only about 10 miles apart - that Nelson could provide me with the color I wanted at a reasonable price. The prior Honda dealership actually told me that I could not get the color of Honda I wanted, the Belize Blue, because it was not a factory color. However, looking at the Honda website, it clearly shows that the color is available. Because of our recent bad experience at this Honda dealership, we immediately asked Sterling, our salesman, to be upfront, honest, and not to mislead us. We did not want any surprises when it came time to go into the last finance room again. Everyone we dealt with at Nelson was extremely courteous and professional. Sterling helped answer every question, Jessica was extremely nice and professional, as well as the finance man, Eduardo (?) And as simple as this sounds, the coffee bar actually made us appreciate the experience even more. I loved it! It is definitely a customer appreciated bonus. I will definitely refer my friends to Nelson Honda after this positive experience. More
