I visited Nelson Honda on Nov.2011. I simply went to look at the different options they had for Honda Civics, with no intention of leaving with a car. At first, I was being helped by one of the new salespers at the different options they had for Honda Civics, with no intention of leaving with a car. At first, I was being helped by one of the new salespersons who was nice and all, but not quite assisting me as I actually wanted. Fortunately, he called another one of the salespersons to come and help me. Apparently, it turned out to be his manager. He took over in assisting me and was extremely polite and a huge help. He was very interested in what I wanted, and began asking questions to really see how he can better assist me. He did everything possible to see what were the best options for me in order to leave with a new car under a good deal. With that said, I can honestly say that things went better than I expected. I left with a brand new car under a pretty good deal. I was really happy with the manager's service, whom by the way I truly recommend to others. His name is Rafael F. Gonzalez. I guarantee you, that although you may not leave with a car right then and there, you'll leave with a great customer service experience if Mr. Gonzalez assists you! The sales staff is friendly, but only to attempt rip you off. When "talking price", with the sales guy and finance guy, they would not make an offer unless we decided to "buy it tonight". I had to argue to even get a starting point on the price. I asked for their financing rates and terms, but instead, they answered with, "what monthly payment are you looking for?" I had to ask 5 TIMES before they told me their finance terms and rates, and they were still vague. They filled out some paperwork with figures and numbers, but refused to make me a copy. At first he said it was "illegal" to make copies, I confronted that other dealers had been making me copies of the exact same sheet. He then backpedaled and admitted that it was "his boss's rule" to not make copies. I told him outright that this was Bull #hit, and we left. DON'T GO HERE! More
