I purchased my vehicle in July of 2021. The sales team is great at selling cars but that is as far as it goes for service as I have yet, 6 months later, to have my infotainment system repaired. After test dr great at selling cars but that is as far as it goes for service as I have yet, 6 months later, to have my infotainment system repaired. After test driving the Escalade I made my concerns clear and after agreement to purchase the vehicle I was told to communicate any concerns. Within the 30 period. I then took the vehicle in for service within days asking them to fix the infotainment system, shakiness at idle and the broken glove box that flopped open violently when the open button was pressed Something no 2015 Cadillac was designed with. Dropped the vehicle off and was called back 4 hours later and told nothing was found wrong with the vehicle. I was told the shakiness didn't exist, the navigating system worked fine and according to the service manager the glovebox was a manufacturing design flaw and all 2015 Cadillacs that year had that problem. I laughed and asked if I could speak with the mechanic who serviced the vehicle. I asked him about the glovebox and got the same story to which I rebuttaled with a schematic drawing of the glove box of the exact make year and model of my vehicle found on the internet. Of course there was a OEM dampner in the drawing and this perplexed the mechanic as it was news to him. He opened it up and sure enough we could both see the broken cable on the inside. I let him know that if he could just repair the broken one there would be no need for a new one but unfortunately it could not be repaired. I then showed him the unresponsive infotainment system to which he stated they would reschedule me for a "reset" for it as soon as the dampner came in. Fast forward a couple weeks and I was told a same day repair would be completed for the damper and the infotainment system. Didn't bother to chase the shake at idle issues as by now I could tell that without a check engine light on they were not going to give me the light of day. Dropped it off at 8:30am as requested and Ubered home from Newport to Cranston as I had no other option. I had made arrangements for the same day pickup but of course never received a call back from Bianca at the service desk for an update despite leaving multiple messages as I was told this was a same day repair until about 6 pm letting me know that unfortunately it will have to wait until the next day as the car was sent to GM and they will not have it back same day. I had my terminally ill childs doctor's appointment to get to next day so that was a huge inconvenience. No car... I figured out a ride situation for the doctor and then later a sitter for my children so I could uber back to Newport. I had yet to complain or be rude in any way and just figured it out and paid my transportation $80 to and fro. Gotta keep moving right!? at least im getting my ride back fixed. Get there and was given my key and pointed in the direction of my vehicle. Found it, hopped in and the glovebox was free of the "manufacturers defect" but the infotainment system was exactly the same. I walked back in to the service garage and let them know the problem was still there to which the service manager responded promptly they would order a new one but it would take about 3 weeks. I was ok with waiting as they were not disputing replacing it. Im pretty patient. He then asked me sarcastically how the glovebox was. I laughed and said "fantastic" and went on my merry way. My son passed weeks later and in mourning the last thing I worried about was my radio but after a couple months I called to find out what was going on and why no one had called. They let me know the radio was in and scheduled me to have it replaced (late November now) I take it in the morning and get a ride back to work in Johnston. by 12 noon I get a call that the radio they ordered is the wrong one and they had to put my broken one back in. Come pick up your car we ordered the new radio from GM and will get it repaired asap. Didn't complain and got yet another ride back there to pick up my vehicle. Toll there toll back every time remember it's the Newport bridge. At least they changed my oil. Warranty covered of course. So then I get a call in late December I missed and respond to the message the next day to schedule for January as they don't have anything available before the 19th I asked if they could make it Friday instead as I cant get a ride there otherwise. So be it. At 8:59 I give them my key for my 9am appointment and they let me know it will be completed asap as it was now the 4th time I was there for the same issue since July with 0 complaints. I was so happy it was finally getting done. Get back home and receive a call now 1 hour since dropping it off. "Looks like the radio was returned while we waited for you to come in for the repair" he tells me. What do you mean? " You have to come in as soon as we call you next time" he says. What the xxxx does that mean...? Now im pissed. Im being blamed for their blunder so I hang up and get a ride back to Newport another toll and 40 minute drive. I walk in and ask what happened because this is ridiculous now. "We were going to be charged a core charge if we don't return it in time so the radio was sent back" I'm sorry what? Who returned it!? I was scheduled by you guys. Why wouldn't you tell me it had to be returned this is honestly a circus. I apologized to the the guy who was just the messenger because he had to hear me complain for the first time since this joke started 6 months ago but what a clown show this place is and my patients gone at this point. He calmly replied " we will call you Monday with word on the new order" I walked away letting everyone there know that their service is garbage and a xxx circus. You would think that after calmly expressing my complaints to the General manager that something good would come of it. He let me know the "core charge" excuse was absolutely nonsense and he would let Lucas (the owner) know what had happened. This was Friday Jan 21/22. Monday came and went and I never got a response or a call about the radio. I put this out there for any would be future victims so they know what they would be dealing with if they were to buy from Barry's Automotive group. Previous to my last visit I was always polite and patient even when expressing my concerns and never disrespected anyone as it's not in my nature but wow these people took me far enough to actually express anger. Anyone who knows me would be surprised... Unbelievable. I apologize for my outburst but nothing I said was a lie. More

Very comfortable transaction. I came originally for a car that was no longer avail. Scotty went above and beyond to search for a similar, if not better, car that was delivered to the dealership.
