Good Morning Danny, I'm sorry to see that you are upset that you're vehicles engine failed 6 months after your purchase. I am, very familiar with your circumstance, in fact I personally tried to help your partner with this situation and did get her approved on another vehicle. We do indeed service our vehicles and ensure they are perfectly safe to drive. You drove your vehicle for 6 months with no issues whatsoever and we didn't see you back once during this time. We unfortunately cannot predict the future and sadly no one can. Knowing that in 6 months your engine would fail is simply impossible and unfortunately does happen hence why we do offer extended service contracts. As I remember, due to your situation which I of course do not want to delve into publicly you were unable to purchase one and that is unfortunate however you were of course offered one pursuant to the very clear paperwork you signed. Regardless of this fact I am very sorry you feel the way you do and I would be more than happy to have a conversation about it with you. This response would be more useful if you gave me your personal phone number. I ain't emailing you and waiting until it's convenient for you to reply just so you can try to explain how I don't know what I'm talking about either. I've been working on cars for 12 years. Since I was 13. I've serviced thousands of vehicles for 6 years and I have seen customers drive 10, 20, 30k up to 60k miles on a single oil change and the car's made it. This car was not checked before it was sold or the service dept don't give a crap and didn't help her? Your manager there, Dave, said she arrived 1.5qts low and didn't top her off? Didn't change her oil? I see no oil on this dipstick but the crap metal leftovers from her mangled engine. So either this car was sold broken (With the "sludge" that killed it.) Or the service department changed the oil, didn't fill it. There's no oil in this thing right now and now all said and done, she was given the offer to sit in a Chevy Equinox or basically pocket out 5k. xxxx near a scam I'd say. You get to double dip on the Santa Fe for 15gs when you replace it with that new engine and she gets a worse car so you make a profit on it too. Sick scam.
