Buying used from out of state I am in the late process of finalizing a proposal with Chas and Josh on a used Sequia. Although I am very suspect on purchasing a high dolllar vehicle I am in the late process of finalizing a proposal with Chas and Josh on a used Sequia. Although I am very suspect on purchasing a high dolllar vehicle from a dealer out of state without actually conducting a test drive, I am pleased with their honesty that sets my mind at ease. Being a military officer, it goes against my senses of trust but verify mentality. Given the great reviews, it sets my mind at more ease. I will send another follow-up review when I get the vehicle delivered. If all goes well, I think other people riding the fence on this type of out of state transaction will be more inclined to purchase vehicles from mid west auto. Follow-up: Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase process. Just some concerns for everyone. First, the description stated the vehicle came with Navigation System and Entune. Both of which are not part of the vehicle. Second, no floor mats were provided with the vehicle. Finally, they indicated that the vehicle had a new oil change. Now, one would think that all the standard fluids would be flushed or topped off. The internal filter was nasty and not cleaned for a long time. Standard oil changing service, if you ask me. So, just be sure to ask the description of systems are included and that the fluids are topped off. Other than these minor issues, we have not had any issues. We got the extended warranty plan through USAA for piece of mind. Great service. Highly recommend them for follow-on purchases. Maybe after my posts, they will win he hearts and minds of people riding on the fence on buying out of state. More
