I looked at Carmax, I shopped Midwest Auto Direct I have been searching for many year preparing for my dream car after college. I moved to Kansas City, started my new career, and finished my hunt for I have been searching for many year preparing for my dream car after college. I moved to Kansas City, started my new career, and finished my hunt for a great car. I looked at Carmax because of the stories that surround car dealers and how they try to make you buy more than you need or sell you a bad vehicle because it is cheap. The thing that started my journey with Midwest Auto Direct was the car I was hunting for (2012 Honda Accord) for a very competitive price. Next, I looked up reviews on this dealership, great reviews across the board. There was a few 4 and 3 star reviews but what impressed me was how Homestead Motors went out of their way to make it up to the customers. Even if it meant fronting some cost for a missing item or a malfunctioning unit, Homestead Motors did the right thing. I test drove the car on a Tuesday, very nice car without an indication that it had a previous owner. After the test drive I talked purchasing with the Sales Rep Alec Newill and Manager Chad Moreland. I had a good feeling about the car but was not ready to buy, I wanted a co-signer and to get my paycheck at the end of the week. Chad was happy to setup an appointment for Saturday. Saturday was smooth, everything was filed, Carfax registered, 150 certified used car inspection, and free pizza if you wanted it. Overall, this was not a typical car dealer, you could walk in to Midwest Auto Direct and feel like a long time friend. This shop has your back if you ask for it! I would shop here again as long as they had the vehicle I wanted. More
