Per a recommendation from a friend, I took my car into Capitol Honda for service almost 3 years ago when I moved to the area. I had loved my previous dealer so they had big shoes to fill. Not only did they meet my expectations, they exceeded them! This last service was especially critical for me as the economy has hit me very hard. I was having problems with the clutch sounding really bad, shuddering, etc (Honda Civic Hybrid - Automatic). I was very worried that the cost would be so much that I could not do the work. I brought it in, explained my problem and they consulted with one of the master mechanics to verify what they thought it was. There was a service bulletin that they had all taken the time to read that referred to this problem. Although I was right on the edge of the maximum time to deal with this, they went to bat for me with Honda America and a very expensive service bill was averted - covered by Honda! In addition, my car was done a day early - also very good for me. One last thing - while checking out my car, they noticed that a light had come on that referenced seat belts/air bags. They checked that out, too (also under warranty), and fixed a seat belt issue that could have been very dangerous - my air bag might not have deployed if I had been in an accident. I have only great things to say about this dealership and the staff there and will continue to bring my car in for regular service. Thanks everyone, especially the Service Manager, Sean, and the Service Writer, Angie, who kept me informed every step of the way. Highly recommend these guys for EVERYTHING!! More
We wanted to buy our car through Costco program. When I submit my request I got a response less than 5 minutes from Ray. When we went to the dealership they paged him and there he was. I just bought a used Honda Accord for my son, and the SRS light was on. I have visited a couple of certified Honda mechanic shops in the area as well as other Honda dealers in San Jose and they all requested light was on. I have visited a couple of certified Honda mechanic shops in the area as well as other Honda dealers in San Jose and they all requested at least $150 just for the diagnostic. Capitol Honda executed the diagnostic and the consequent repair AT NO COST (it was the seat belt buckle which has a life time warranty). Safety should be a concern of all car dealers and I really appreciate the excellent service received at Capitol Honda! More

I have had my Honda Civic Hybrid serviced at Capitol Honda over the years. There was a recall notice on my car that I needed to have serviced. I was not getting around to it. Capitol Honda called me yesterday and reminded me of the recall notice and would I like to have the service performed to resolve the issue. It was a potential safety issue so the repair needed to be made. I had no problem scheduling. I brought the car in the morning and was handled almost immediately. We discussed some other service issues that were relevant. As a result I had some work done on the front visors that were beginning to go. Bottom line Angelina discussed service issues that were relevant to my needs. She was very informative and customer oriented. I felt that she and the staff behind her were focused on the service needs for my vehicle. She devoted the right amount of time and I was quickly on my way. Angelina was professional, friendly, courteous, communicated very clearly, and was concise. The staff that I had contact with was friendly, courteous, and professional. All the staff followed through with what we agreed upon in a very reasonable amount of time. I had the service down during the work week. The service department regular hours was very accommodating. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, get to work on time, work a normal day and pick up my car at the end of the day. I have used Capitol Honda over the life of my car and will continue to do so. As an automobile the Civic Hybrid has been a good performer. So I could see myself going to Capitol Honda when looking for a new car. More
When we arrived the dealership Ray greet us promptly and showed us the inventory right away. We weren't really planning to buy the same day but after walking the whole lot we saw a red Camry and we liked it showed us the inventory right away. We didn't have a good credit but Tony Johnson helped us to get the right financing for us. Me and my wife love out new car and Ray made sure everything was smooth and painless. Finance manager Shak is one of a kind person. He wasn't pushy at all. He showed us some options and asked if we would consider. I would recommend this dealership to everyone and Ray, Tony, and Shak are the most amazing people we have met today. More
I put over 40,000 miles on my Honda Accord a year for work and I need to have the best Honda service department available and I have found this with Capitol Honda! The reasons are many so let me list a few of the most important: 1) first and foremost is they only provide work when it is necessary, I never feel under pressure or they have to meet some kind of quota to sell parts. There have been times when I felt that I needed some service work and was advised this can wait. 2) I have never had an instance when I had to go back to the dealer on their work. This is very important to me when I have limited time to begin with. 3) My service rep. is extremely knowledgable on my Honda, she goes out of her way to ensure I am completely satisfied and understand everything that has occurred. 4) They always exceed my expectations, sometimes I get a lift to work quicker then I expected or usually they have the car completed earlier. 5) The pricing is extremely reasonable, if there are coupons available they always apply them. 6) I honestly feel my car having 165,000 miles runs like a brand new car and this is 100% because of Capitol Honda. Service is the name of the game for me and I am thankful that I found Capitol Honda over four years ago. I have also purchased a car from them and would recommend them to anyone who wants the best Honda service in the bay area. More
