I found the salesperson Matt Adams especially helpful and friendly when I was looking for a used car. I was not sure what I wanted only with what I did not want to buy. As a female it's very intimidating to take your car in to get any service work on it. We always feel like we are going to get taken advantage of because of our lack of knowledge regarding cars. He was very helpful in answering any and all questions that I had regarding my car and the the service work I was getting done on it. He let me know all the costs up front and also an estimated time my car was going to be done. He even assisted me in getting a rental car while my car was out of service. Angelo was extremely professional and very polite. Because of my first experience with him I felt comfortable returning my car to get a maintenance service done on it. Ray is fantastic at what he does. He is extremely nice and you can tell he genuinely cares. His presence in general made me feel at home, and that he was looking out for my best interests. I had done my homework before going into this dealership - so I had the model of car, price I wanted to pay, and color preference. Matt was the sales consultant assigned to work with me. We walked out to the lot, saw a few cars of the different colors in stock at the dealership. I picked the color of car I wanted to buy. Matt went in to speak with his manager. He came back to check with me to see how firm I was with my number. He went back again to speak with his manager. Within 15 minutes the deal was sealed. Another 15 minutes of test drive. We shook hands. Started the paperwork. Drove out of the dealership with a brand new 2012 Honda Civic LX in less than 2 hours. Matt was very professional, very courteous, very thorough with explaining every feature of the vehicle. Matt is a very good salesperson to work with. As with buying anything that is financed, it was no surprise to me that the longest time I spent at the dealership was in the waiting room filling out the purchase application, waiting for the credit check to be run, waiting for the car to be readied, and then finally signing a ton of papers. Tong, from Finance, was another great experience at the dealership. No hard sell with anything. Just gave me the facts on all the options I had. Took my answers without any attempt to sell anything. I had a very brief conversation with Roger (Sales Manager). He too came across as very professional and courteous. Overall, an extremely pleasant experience of buying a car at Capitol Honda. If you ever need a Honda (in the Bay Area) go to Capitol Honda and I will highly recommend that you ask to see Matt Adams on your visit to this dealership. More
