Great buying experience, professional and patient! It's been around a year since I finally replaced my old car with a new(er) Nissan Cube at Capitol City Honda. Not having any experience of actually buying a car through a dealer (though having been with others when they were) I was wary going in, but once JD assisted my father and I, I was able to just appreciate the experience. I'd had my eye on the Cube after looking at the deals online, and I really appreciated JD's demeanor and professionalism. He provided information and his thoughts (which reflected experience and knowledge) without once feeling like he was being pushy or trying to sell me. This made the experience really nice - being able to really test the car out the way I wanted to (freeway, acceleration, breaking, turning, electronics inside, etc). I really appreciated that immensely! Ultimately I drove away from the lot in my new Cube, very happily. Everyone at Capitol City Honda were very nice, helpful, and I really appreciated how they didn't try to jam a sale or other additional things you didn't need down your throat - that reflected professionalism and respect for what customers wanted. Bottom-line: great experience buying a vehicle, I would recommend Capitol City Honda and JD to anyone looking to buy. What you want and express going in, the folks there listen to. They seemed more patient and more respecting of their customer's preferences then what I've experienced with accompanying people to other car dealers in the past. More

Obtuse treatment of women My wife just purchased a new Honda from Capitol City Honda. The sales folks and management never seemed to get that she was writing the check for her My wife just purchased a new Honda from Capitol City Honda. The sales folks and management never seemed to get that she was writing the check for her 4th new car from this dealership. We sat in the sweat box, listened to overpriced offers, and they took the keys for her trade in so we could not drive home - standard low class car sales tricks. Paperwork requiring two signatures for community property were fine, but all other papers and discussion were with me, even though my wife was buying the car. I would have gone to another dealer, but she bought the car here. Service is good at Capitol City Honda, but the senior sales personnel seem 20 years out of date when it comes to dealing with women. There are other Puget Sound dealerships that can deal honestly with women - visit one of them. More

I bought a used Honda Odyssey from Capitol City Honda. At the time I purchased the van there was a service bulletin from American Honda explaining that this car had paint issues and would very likely suff At the time I purchased the van there was a service bulletin from American Honda explaining that this car had paint issues and would very likely suffer from paint peeling. The paint warranty was extended to 7 years. I was never notified that my car was a part of this problem. The car began flaking large chuncks of paint off of the hood, sliding doors and wing window areas, 6 months after the expiration of the warranty. Chris Levesque and I had a breif conversation and he said he would look into it for me. Chris never responded back to any of my future communications. Dale Cooper did return my call, but let me know that the best Honda could do was cover 25% of the cost to repair their faulty workmanship. Very disappoint with Honda in general and this dealerships ability to stand behind the products they sell. More
