Donny said he had't looked at the brakes, which is one of the things I wanted. Also, there is a power steering leak, but they didn't check for that either. He said the car was in great condition. The staff were all young and happy, I liked that, but very inexperienced, and they didn't ask me what I really wanted. Oh -- the Parts guys were fabulous, though! Fun, thorough, very helpful. But I won't take my Honda there to get fixed. More
Dishonest My engine light was on. Paid$100 for diagnosis. Told I had wiring damage due to rodents. Quoted me $1600 . My husband said no way. Took it home to my My engine light was on. My car runs perfectly. More

I scheduled an appointment to save time and cut down on wait time. I was told it would take two hours. I came back after two hours and was told that the car was almost done and that we were waiting only for the paperwork to be completed. I heard this excuse twice during an hour. I overheard another employee admit that two service techs had called in sick, and that was why there were delays. The employee helping me though never admitted that. Instead he lied about the reason for the delay and the amount of time it would take. If he had been honest, I would have rescheduled or done something else instead of waiting FOUR HOURS for something that should have been two hours. Dishonesty and inefficiency, and incredibly poor professionalism. I will never do business with Capitol City Honda again and you shouldn't spend your hard-earned money here either. More

Liars and cheats I went to this dealership to purchase a used car. The sales person (James) seemed nice enough, until there were problems less that 2 weeks later. Theft by Salesman Warning! The salespeople stole from my car. First off, I was in a heated negotiation with the sales guy. One of his partner then ask to move my car an Warning! One of his partner then ask to move my car and said that he would conveniently move my car if I gave him my keys. I reluctantly agree but continued to negotiate for the new car. That partner of his doesn't come back for another hour. I grew concerned because I had some cash in the car in case I needed to stop by the bank to deposit the money for a down-payment on the car I was hoping to get. Surprise, surprise, I find some of my money missing when I went to go check on my car. I complained to the sales manager to no avail. He didn't take all of my money but a couple of hundreds were missing. Lesson learned. Don't trust any of the employees at this dealership. They're thieves. More

I had been in contact with their sales manager about the Accord that particularly wanted. After a few weeks of back and forth with him, we finally came to an agreement. So I drive the 50 miles down to finalize the contract. However, as we're close to finishing up, he pulled a switch and bait on me by trying to include extra features that I never wanted in the first place. I was glad I double checked the paperwork before signing the contract. These people are deceitful. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! More

When I chose not to go through with those fixes, they then said that the car wash wasn't free and tried to add it onto my bill. Don't bother going inside the dealership. The people here are crooks. THEY WERE NICE TO HER WHILE SELLING HER THE CAR, HOWEVER WHEN SHE CAME BACK AFTER THE PURCHASE WITH QUESTIONS, THEY IGNORED HER AND PASSED HER OFF. THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! More

David B was excellent - offering information with a very low-key & polite approach. I initially asked about hybrids, but considered a CRV at his suggestion. Loved it! In general, really don't like the "negotiation" phase of car-buying. Shared that with JD when we came back to purchase, and he truly made an attempt to cut out as much of the "game" as he was able to. We appreciated his professionalism and thorough approach. For folks who truly dislike the car-buying experience in general, we'd recommend this dealership, and David & JD, with no reservations. Thanks, guys! More
