Went down to the dealership saw the van then Jimmy showed us all the bells and whistles, the experience was all done in one day The staff worked hard to make a deal, drove home that day with the van. The truck is awesome and the team at Capitol was very accommodating to our fairly tight schedule and hopes of purchasing the vehicle before the end of the year to take advantage of the tax deduction for our business. Jimmy our sales rep. Was eager to assist and did a great job of answering all of our questions. He even referred us to one of the mechanics “the Doctor” who answered all of the power wagon specific mechanical and technical questions that Jimmy was not familiar with. Lincoln was very helpful in thinking through and the financing options and additional warranties that weee offered. We have yet to pick the truck up post leather seat upfit but we had a great experience. The only feedback that I would give is to turn down the speaker over Jimmy’s desk or move it! More

Bad experience Capitol Chrysler in Willimantic CT is by far the worst dealership I have ever encountered. I went there to purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle they Capitol Chrysler in Willimantic CT is by far the worst dealership I have ever encountered. I went there to purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle they had on their lot. It was a typical negotiating process for price and the repairs I wanted and we settled on a price. But after that, they refused to do some of the negotiated items. the car had a trailer hitch but no electric. We negotiated they would install it at their cost. They later told me their “cost” for parts and labor was 3 times what I could get it for at another nearby business full price. I told them to forget it and I would take it to the nearby business. I had negotiated for 2 extra keys, they refused saying they must have misunderstood, but wouldn’t step up for their misunderstanding. I bought 2 key blanks on line, had them cut locally and programmed them myself for less than $20.00. I also negotiated for some scratches and 1 nick in the hood to be buffed out and filled in as best they could. They did not do this at all. They showed me the CPO 125 point inspection they did on the vehicle. I said according to this, my car was an automatic transmission with heated seats. It is in fact a manual transmission without heated seats. They had to go out of there way to mark it as not having a manual transmission. I doubt they did the inspection at all. The final washing was horrible. There was visible dirt still on the car and rims. And to top it all off, as I was signing the paperwork, my salesperson said he was taking the car to put gas in it. I said to the finance guy, at least I get a full tank of gas. He said, oh no, he is not going to fill it up. it was true, they only filled it to 7/8th full. Nice gesture, but why not go the extra 1/8? This experience has proven to me that Capitol Chrysler sales AND service departments are not to be trusted. Good thing I wanted the car, now I will drive as far away from this dealership as I can get. More
