In purchasing cars in the past, I usually had the experience of the salesman constantly addressing my husband instead of myself when I was the one purchasing the car. Mike was not at all like that. He understood from the beginning that this would be my car purchase and he sold the car to me, not my husband. We spent about 6 hours at the dealership the day we purchased the car. He didn't just list the selling points of the car, he took the time to make sure we found a car to meet exactly what I was looking for. I went in with a lot of tough questions--I'm a researcher by trade, ergo very analytical about any major decision I make--and knew what I was willing to pay. Richard Clark priced out my trade-in vehicle (2007 Beetle, heavily used) and gave me an excellent value for it (at least according to my research on the vehicle's true worth). Meanwhile, Hamilton Dueberry worked with me for several hours not only letting me test-drive various gas and diesel models and answering my basic questions, but also went so far as to make an economic analysis matrix for me comparing the true cost to own over five years of each vehicle I considered. On top of that, he and his colleague Marty Stewart stayed at the dealership for two hours past closing to finish my sale. I drove my brand-new 2011 Jetta S off the lot that night after working out a phenomenal deal with the sales team. I left totally confident in my choice, thrilled with the car, and overwhelmingly positive about my experience with this dealership. I never once felt pressured or rushed, and actually wound up gaining real friends in addition to a new car. Great experience with great people. If you're in the Big Bend area and considering buying a European car, I can't recommend Capital Eurocars highly enough! More

I usually hate the entire car buying experience. This time was totally different. For one thing, I was not sold a car; they let me buy it! Because I have connections in the industry I knew what I wanted time was totally different. For one thing, I was not sold a car; they let me buy it! Because I have connections in the industry I knew what I wanted and how much I should pay. Mike, the sales manager, gave me a price instantly that I accepted without negotiation. Al, my salesman, showed me the model I wanted and took me for a ride. I was in a hurry and told them I would take the car and to process my credit. I Then left without a signed order or deposit. WE SHOOK HANDS AND CALLED IT A DEAL! When is the last time you could do that at a car dealer? Later that day after processing the paperwork, AND STILL NOT HAVING ANYTHING SIGNED BY ME OR A DEPOSIT, they delivered the car to my office and we signed everything there. I learned long ago that a handshake was more binding than any contract. Times changed and most people no longer believe that. The people at this dealership still believe that. To start off from the beginning - My husband and I stopped by the showroom 3 1/2 years ago around 6.45pm just when they were getting ready to close. Mike and the showroom manager were the only people left and they stayed over to help. Now Mike was so patient and well informed that in 1 hour we decided we would buy a Jetta from them. After half an hour of negotiations and not being able to find the right colors and also beginning to waver between a Passat and a Jetta, Mike found a Passat on the lot with the exact color scheme we wanted and talked to his manager about it. We were going to say no to it thinking it would be too expensive but he came back and gave us such an offer that we could not refuse! So we had actually just gone to browse and pass time and we ended up buying the car-not because they were forceful but because they tried so hard to make the best possible deal in our interest. Ever since then I have gone there for my service requirements and never had an issue. Recently I had an issue with my car and I called Mike with my problem because since the first day he has been extremely approachable and always helpful. He worked with Moses to get me a fix which cost me 1/3 of my expected expense. Moses called gave me a prompt turnaround and they had my car fixed within 5 days of my call to Mike. I want to say during this whole episode not once has Capital VW or Mike or Moses made me feel like we sold the car, got the money and now any problem you encounter is yours. Mike, especially being the person that sold me the car, now in Finance, has never referred me off to another sales person or the service department and said that is not my responsibility which is typical attitude of most people in his profession. I have come to like my car so much our next car will be a VW and from nowhere else but Capital Eurocars. Mike is a true gem to your company. And Moses is the best service advisor I have met because he cares for the customers as much as we care for our cars. Thank you again Mike! More
We were just started vacation, driving from Texas to Key West. We started having minor transmission problems and stopped for the night. The next day we called the Tallahassee location and asked if they woul West. We started having minor transmission problems and stopped for the night. The next day we called the Tallahassee location and asked if they would have time to look at the SUV. Mr. Clifton said to stop by. About 10 minutes out we called back to give our ETA. Mr. Clifton was waiting on us. He immediately took the SUV to have it inspected, then came back to fill out the paperwork. They checked for software updates, fluid levels and made sure all linkages were properly aligned. Since we could not stay for transmission work, they made sure the vehicle was safe to drive and the issue will not result in further damage. Our down time due to their quickness was about 1 hour. We found this to be a very professional and courteous experience. More
