They did not repair tire bead leak, which I've had before and told them about, because they only sprayed it with soapy water and didn't see the leak. I told them that the prior episode also missed the leak and told them about, because they only sprayed it with soapy water and didn't see the leak. I told them that the prior episode also missed the leak with that method and could only be discovered and fixed by taking the tire off and reseating the bead. The customer service rep was nice and said to come back when it goes down again because a 2nd visit for the same problem gets management involved. I'd rather not have to come in again when I am nearly certain what the problem is, as I've had it before recently with another tire on the same truck. More

I have been severely disappointed by the service I have gotten from the dealership. Previously, I had been over the moon with the service provided by this dealership, so much so that I have given a measure gotten from the dealership. Previously, I had been over the moon with the service provided by this dealership, so much so that I have given a measure of grace when things were subpar in the last year or so. Now I am out of grace. I live 2.5 hours away and work full time, to take time to bring the 4Runner to this location is a minor event for my family. When I brought the car in, I had a tech go with to see if the car would make the sounds in question. This was the third attempt for one of the sounds. BEHOLD!! The tech heard both sounds!!! I was relieved as I believed the issues would be addressed. I was so wrong.... After the car was at the dealership half a day the day I dropped it and all day the next....I got there to find that the 3X sound was completely unmentioned and the new sound was mentioned only that the sound can be heard, but cannot be identified 'because there is too much personal property in the vehicle. Really? So, did no one think to call me to clue me in? I could happily come by and remove any/all items interfering with your $90 diagnostic task. It kills me that I had to pay for an incomplete service and was only made aware that the service was incomplete at a time when there was no opportunity to remedy 'the problem' because i am due back to work in the morning.....2.5 hours away......and the Service Dept is now closed.....and my Service guy nor the manager is on site..... Do you see what I'm getting at here? Yes, I'm mad. I've given grace when your finance guy over charged me at the time of purchase....I've given grace when your service department returned me my vehicle with the dash still disassembled after a repair and the contents of my glove box strewn around the floorboards......I believe I've been gracious..... now what? I expect to hear from someone without delay..... More
