I left three other dealerships, very dissatisfied, but Capital Toyota is by far the best auto dealership I have ever purchased from. I was just shopping, but Ed (The Sales Manager), Alicia (My Sales Associate), and Reno (F&I) are why I purchased. A Truck is a truck for me as long as it will get the job done, but the people made everything worth my while. I wish I could convince every one of them to come to my side of the business, but then I wouldn't be able to send my customers shopping for a vehicle anywhere. I can promise that Capital Toyota has my business forever. Alicia is also one unbelievable sales professional. She doesn't push, and makes it a fun experience. Thank you for being great! Oh and my Tacoma is amazing, and I am very glad that's what I went with. More

Unpleasant Experience My buying experience started off great. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the Tahoe I was looking at and he helped me understand what to My buying experience started off great. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the Tahoe I was looking at and he helped me understand what to look for in buying a used car with high mileage. However, once the transaction shifted from LOOKING to PURCHASING the Tahoe, things started to change. You could tell that he had put on his "salesman" hat and was trying to get the deal done by all means. I gave him amounts that I could pay and what I thought the Tahoe was worth and he went back and forth to the "managers office" and his desk with every value I came up with as an offer, which is typical in a traditional dealership. I gave him a final price that I was willing to pay and we settled on that amount and then it turned to financing the vehicle. It took over an hour and a half waiting to hear the status of the financing, with several updates by the salesman saying "just a few more minutes". Once I finally did hear from the finance department, it was too late to do anything that night about financing the vehicle, I had to wait until the next day. I was told by the financial rep that I would be getting a call from her early in the morning on the next day to discuss the options available to me. She never called, she had failed to mention that she would not be in the office the next day to give me that call. I was forced to text my salesman, who was off duty, all day trying to find out the status of this purchase. I literally had to text this guy 10 times to try and get a straight answer on what was going to happen. When I could not get any answer other than, "still waiting", I finally called the dealership and talked with a finance manager who told me that "I was good." I asked what that meant and he said that everything worked out, which meant that the deal had been approved. Thanks for notifying me. The last issue with this experience was actually signing the papers for the financing. The salesman and I had agreed on a price and I was never told by the salesman that the agreed upon price would not be possible. However, when I was signing the paperwork, I noticed some values that did not look right. After asking the finance manager to point out the total purchase price of the vehicle, I found that the agreed upon amount was not honored and the total was off by $1100. I had to call the salesman back to the financing office for him to explain the amount to the finance manger. The finance manager did not agree with what I was telling him so he had to make a call to someone to get permission to sell it at that price. It just added another level of shadiness to this already questionable purchase. It's a shame that experiences like this still happen. There are so many other ways of purchasing cars these days that are easier and far less questionable. I just happened to really like the car that I was trying to purchase so I put up with all of the frustration. Hopefully, this is not a consistent theme with this dealership. More
