Not pushy at all, showed me a black camry with low milage and good condition. Chandler showed all features of vehicle. He was very informative and a great sales person. Courtesy and Respect for Used car buyers I spoke to your pre-owned division manager at length. The Powers That Be would do well to speak with him. A few things I noticed: The "receptionist" made me stand and wait to be helped while she took a personal call on her cell phone. We shopped in the rain and no assistance was offered such as an umbrella while the dealers all around you brought umbrellas. My car was purchased in cash, a gift from a close friend. We were told that it would be no problem to use her bank card number and/or credit card to complete the transaction but when we sat down with the finance manager, not only was he completely unprofessional and condescending but he told us we could not do the transaction in that manner. As a result, my friend had to take time out of her work day - and risk losing her job - in order to go to her bank in Ohio and personally wire the money. To add insult to injury the paper instructions for wiring money were incomplete and/or incorrect which caused yet another significant delay. The next day when I returned to pick up my car, I inadvertently got dropped off at the new car dealership. And what did I find? An attentive professional receptionist ( i.e. not on her cell phone); fresh flowers in abundance and an attitude of "you're special because you're buying a NEW car. Meanwhile at the used car building; no flowers, no professional receptionist and while this may seem petty, it is evidence of the "we don't care about you 'cause you're not buying a brand new car" - the signs in the ladies room - more than one - all with the word toilet misspelled! The only reason I went ahead and took the car was because of Marquita! She went above and beyond to really help me in a desperate situation. I was en route to Missouri to care for my 95 yr old mother in law who had fallen and broken two ribs. My previous car's head gasket blew so I had to purchase another car in a hurry. Marquita payed attention. She listened to what I was saying and understood what is important to me in a car. I would buy another car from her in a heartbeat. I can assure you that given the treatment I received from the dealership, I would never buy another car from Capital Toyota. I am already telling my friends who live in Chattanooga to stay away from you people who don't care that for many Americans a USED car is a major purchase. Go ahead and stroke the egos of those new car buyers. I won't be back. By the way, I asked to speak in person with the General Manager and was told I could not. What's up with that? Finally, I asked Marquita to locate a 2007 Toyota Avalon Owner's Guide for me since there was not one in the glove box and she assured me she would. I am still waiting. More
Best Customer Service Experience Ever at a Car Dealership We walked in the door thinking we would test drive a Camry, a Honda Accord, and a Mazda 3 before making a decision on which car to buy. We immediatel We walked in the door thinking we would test drive a Camry, a Honda Accord, and a Mazda 3 before making a decision on which car to buy. We immediately met Brad Doty with the friendliest smile and he said he would take us to see a Camry. Brad asked if we were familiar with the models, which we were not. He walked us through all of them and showed us one of each. Brad put us at ease and talked us through the options so we could choose - moon roof or not, leather interior, LE or XLE. Brad pulled out the vehicle we liked and helped my husband get the seat and mirrors adjusted for the test drive. He chose the perfect route to allow us to try highway, curvy road, and bumpy road that highlighted the car's smooth ride. We enjoyed the conversation and non pressured experience. Brad was so knowledgeable and wanted us to have a great buying experience. He showed us all the new entertainment functions and how the car worked with our cell phones. We loved the car, the price, and the customer experience so much that my husband and I looked at each other and agreed we didn't want to go to the Honda or Mazda dealer - we were ready to buy with Brad. Brad explained all the warranties, service, and made the paperwork a breeze. Chris came to meet us from the service department. He was very friendly and explained how they would keep our new car in excellent running condition. Michael Reno was also a great guy. He ensured we knew how each of the service options worked and helped us determine the best financing for us. He really had the customer's best interests in mind. We were completed with the paperwork in no time. The last part of the experience made me smile. Brad had the car cleaned up and waxed to perfection. He took my husband through setting up his phone with the new car and set up his Sirius Radio with the Beatles station - my husband's absolute favorite. My husband had battled stage 3 cancer for over a year (and won), so it made me so happy to see him laughing with Brad setting up the new car and enjoying himself. Above And Beyond! We have now had our vehicle for over a week and I can honestly say there is not a single bit of buyers remorse. However, I want this review to be about the amazing customer service we received. Anyone who has purchased a vehicle knows the hassle it can be, the frustration, the pushy sales people, the headache of financing and everything else in between. I am happy to say, this was not the case at all for us. About a week prior to stepping foot on the lot, I contacted Marquita Jones and let her know that my family was looking to purchase a vehicle. Pretty straight forward. She asked what I was looking for and what needs had to be met when searching. I let her know that we needed a larger vehicle to accommodate our family of four and our three large breed dogs. But more than what we were looking for in a vehicle, we needed some accommodations in the buying process. I explained that my husband was a medically retired veteran who is 100% disabled, living with PTSD and TBI. Due to this, he has incredibly high anxiety and can be standoffish. I explained that too many options, fast talking and pushiness would only cause him frustration and him forgoing the entire process. I also let her know that he had trouble hearing especially out of the left ear. I also explained that due to his conditions once leaving the Army, his credit has suffered. So this was not only for us to get a family car but also to help him gain some independence again being that we would be putting the vehicle in his name. When Marquita told me she had this under control, there couldn't have been truer words. Over the course of the week she reached out several times with vehicle options and credit financing options. By the time we were ready to hit the lot, Marquita had all the paperwork ready to go, the vehicle of choice ready for our inspection and test drive and everyone on the team basically in place. It was the most seamless process I had ever been a part of. She was considerate of all the things I told her. The background noise was minimal, her office area was clutter-free and quiet and she made sure at every step that we were happy with the choice of vehicle. She answered all questions with confidence and accuracy which created an instant bond. When she passed us off to the finance department, it was just a few signatures and then obtaining the keys. But the finance went above and beyond as well, explaining to my husband how to raise his credit score and then refinance in a year at a lower rate. I am proud to say that my husband walked away the new owner of a 2016 Jeep Compass and swearing that he will never buy another car from anyone besides Marquita Jones! More
