This was my first experience with Capital Lincoln since I have recently moved to North Carolina and I was not disappointed. Since moving here from New York, my wife and I have been consistently amazed at how nice and friendly everyone is. This same warm, friendly atmosphere was obvious from the first individual who greeted us upon our arrival right through our Lincoln Specialist, Chris Mclean. I had brought my Lincoln in for a routine service under the terms of our PMP and Chris saw to it that everything needed was done and even had the car detailed before we picked it up More
Smooth and straightforward, had everything done by text and phone before even going to dealership. Very fair in pricing and discounts, considerate staff. Great place to purchase a vehicle. I purchased a 2018 preowned F150 for a work truck. Salesman George, Doug and the finance manager Scott are the best. While the sales and finance team are top-notch, the Service Department is terrible. The actual work they perform in the Service Department may be good but first you have to get past the 4 or 5 people Service Department is terrible. The actual work they perform in the Service Department may be good but first you have to get past the 4 or 5 people who sit at their desk in the Service reception area, tapping at their keyboards and completely ignoring any live person who steps in the door. After standing there for several minutes, fully expecting one of them to step up and at least acknowledge that they see a customer needing help and saying, hold on a couple minutes and I will be right with you, its more like each ignores the person who is standing there hoping another person will take on the task of helping this customer. Well, after being ignored, I spoke up and asked a guy who was going out of his way to make eye contact with me if he could direct me to someone who could help me. A very curt, "I'm working with someone else right now" was spit at me. Ok, great, there are 3 other people here so I walked to the other side of the wall and asked for some help. This was about an hour ago btw, today, Wednesday, March 31. The guy closest to the door toward the street (Service Greeter supposedly is his job) completely ignores me, yet again. I had stood near him several minutes ago only to be ignored. So I said can anyone help me? "I am working on something else" he says to me. At this point I lose it and said there are 4 people here and all of you are ignoring a customer and tapping on your keyboards. He tells me something like "you show up here with no reservation . . . .". Of course I am wondering how he knows this as I have not discussed this with him. All any one of them would have needed to do was to make eye contact and say, "give us a couple of minutes and we will be right with you". Problem solved, but not one of them even made eye contact. I asked for the manager and they said there was not one there, which does not surprise me given their behavior. I had to walk to the finance department and explain to them what had happened just to get them to get me some help. They need a manager who trains the service greeters and then he needs to stay around and actually manage the place. Its great until you buy the car, and then the service people are just rude. More
