I went just to look around and at first they didn't have what I was looking for, but they assured me that they could find me what I wanted, that they had several other lots. I asked if they could look and what I was looking for, but they assured me that they could find me what I wanted, that they had several other lots. I asked if they could look and see and give me a call if they find something. They called me within 10 min, text me some pics of the car and told me they could have it in Sanford within an hour, and they did do just that. After dealing with three other dealerships before going there(2-honda dealerships and carmax)I was ready to give up after what the other lots put me through. I should've went to Tom Smith in Sanford to begin with. They were friendly, upfront, and no B.S.. They promissed me I would leave home in the car I wanted the same day and I did. Best bunch of people you will ever deal with I promise you More

The were not trying to p were very helpful and knowledgable. The work with us on our payment options and made sure we were getting the car we wanted. The were not trying to pressure us in to buying something we didn't want. They made buying the car very easy and quick. There was one thing that wansn't right with the car and they fixed it after i bought it and there was no cost to me. I was overall happy with there customer service and will definately be back to buy a car from them again. More
The reason that I would recommend this dealership is because I was very satified with the service and the was I was treated. We were not pressured and followed all over the car lot. My spouse and had because I was very satified with the service and the was I was treated. We were not pressured and followed all over the car lot. My spouse and had time to discuss things and figure out what was best and by doing so we feel we made the best decision. The selection of vehciles to choose from was great. We were allowed to check out and drive several vehciles before we found the right one. All the sale associates were friendly and helpful. My wife and I felt like we got a good price for the truck we purchased. It was late in the day (closing time) but we were not rushed. Deilisa and Oliver were very helpful in directing us through the necassary paperwork. I would highly recommend Tom Smith Trade In Center to my friends. More
First I want to say Billy took good care of me and my truck. It was when I picked it up I found out my GPS had been taken. They are not responsible for there employees. So you Better take everything truck. It was when I picked it up I found out my GPS had been taken. They are not responsible for there employees. So you Better take everything out before going. To say the least it is very aggravating to take your car or truck some where to have repairs then have to worry about them ripping you off.(personal belongings or on your bill) More
I went to this dealership several months ago to look at a new Edge. I talked with Reuben (sp), at length. When it came down to it, he lied when asked what a "doc" fee was. I know what it is...a junk fee. new Edge. I talked with Reuben (sp), at length. When it came down to it, he lied when asked what a "doc" fee was. I know what it is...a junk fee. He told me that the dealership "has to charge that fee by law". I asked if he could show me, or even give me the statute number so I could look that law up for myself, and he couldn't/ wouldn't. I do not need to be lied to for you to earn my business. I would ask questions that I already knew the answer to and each time, I was lied to. Later, I found a used car on the lot that I was interested in and asked for some information about the car so I could do my homework on it. He refused to give me the information, and began to pressure me to buy "right now". He didn't want me to discover the poor deal he was offering. Why do dealerships (at least the ones I have dealt with), find it necessary to play the games? I equate buying a car to playing the shell game at a carnival. Now I drive through the dealership lot just to watch the sales guys chase me on foot and on their golf cart. It's a blast!! More
