After speaking with Claude, it seems this issue is due to a misunderstanding on Claude’s part. He does remember you and your father visiting with us. Unfortunately, Claude thought you two were wanting to browse the lot on your own. I’m not sure how this misunderstanding happened, but am so sorry that it did. Claude is actually one of our best salespeople and one of our most highly rated salespeople based on customer reviews. I would be more than happy to assist you and your father personally. Dear Mr Atkins, Thank you for your offer and politely worded response, but I have no interest in returning to your lot. Also, Claude's logic is a little faulty. We were only interested in purchasing a new E-class sedan, and Claude was aware of this, which is the reason why he led us directly to the only three that you had. The 3 were side-by-side in the same row. He immediately turned and walked back into the building. Maybe you believe that leaving us standing next to three LOCKED cars for 20 minutes without any explanation, attempt to describe the vehicle's features/options, or even asking if we have any questions is a acceptable way to sell a new car to an interested customer, but I do not think that it is. It is also not the kind of behavior that I would expect if we wanted to just BROWSE THE LOT (ie., browse 3 cars) ON our OWN.

Dear Jassij, While we appreciate your review we must dispute your account of the events and your allegation that we are responsible for your needed repairs. We have in fact been in constant communication with you and have recommended a number of possible solutions to help you address your vehicle’s condition. When you returned from your trip, your car was indeed low on oil – by 1 quart, not 50%, and we diagnosed this as being the result of worn out valve stem seals, which is due to normal wear and tear expected for a 2008 vehicle with 146,500 miles. You were not told that “there is no oil in the car” and your statement that “somebody did not check to make sure the oil was replaced” is not true. We feel that we have done our best to work with you to provide possible solutions and are happy to continue to do so, but we must reaffirm that we are not responsible for the current condition of your vehicle .
