Awesome Long Distance "Sight-Unseen" Purchase After not finding my slightly pre-owned car of my dreams in Southern California, I expanded my search nationwide ... and ultimately found exactly what After not finding my slightly pre-owned car of my dreams in Southern California, I expanded my search nationwide ... and ultimately found exactly what I was looking for at Capital Eurocars. I contacted the dealership and was VERY FORTUNATE to be introduced to Claude Rabbath, who is extremely knowledgeable of the MB brand and answered all my questions. After several phone calls and e-mail correspondences with Claude, I quickly realized this vehicle was exactly what I was looking for, but it was on the other side of the country! Being the extremely finicky type where no detail (or scratch or scuff) is too minor, dare I even consider dropping nearly 6 figures on a vehicle sight-unseen? I have purchased MANY cars in my lifetime, but have NEVER purchased a pre-owned vehicle without first seeing it. That would be crazy! Time to start making some travel plans ... or ??? While I was trying to put together a quick trip to Tallahassee, Claude offered to make a detailed video of the vehicle for me ... including every little hairline scratch, stretched patch of leather, and/or fingerprint ... as if he was buying a car for his closest friend ... or relative. He truly became my advocate. The next morning, I received the video and realized I really didn't need to make that trip ... the vehicle was extremely clean (even though he noted a couple little things that I couldn't even see). Claude really was looking out for my best interest. Quick negotiations ... and the deal was done. Now ... to get this Little Monster out to California before the holidays. Claude helped with shipping arrangements (even on his day off) and was there to personally see this vehicle loaded and sent off on its journey west. Three days later, the vehicle arrived in SoCal ... and it was everything (and more) that I expected. In fact, Claude had even slipped a HUGE RED BOW in the rear of the vehicle that I placed on the hood upon landing in our driveway. My wife screamed with excitement when she came outside. I always take my car to the dealership to be serviced, even though I live 2 hours from Tallahassee! I go there for the excellent service and I know that my vehicle will get the correct and necessary service or repairs. The service manager, Parke Stafford, goes well beyond the normal meet and greet! He listens to my concerns and takes care of my needs every time. He is a real asset to that dealership, even though I would like to say that everyone there has been wonderful. When I get ready for a new purchase again, I won't hesitate to visit Capital Euro Cars in Tallahassee, Florida! More
