DO NOT HAVE ELYSIA AS YOUR ADVISOR I brought my car here for a diagnostic and had an issue with not being communicated well with. My car was there for service on a Friday and Elysia neglected to advise here for a diagnostic and had an issue with not being communicated well with. My car was there for service on a Friday and Elysia neglected to advise me by end of business that my car would be staying there through the weekend. She also neglected to let me know that their Saturday team is not able to provide updates and that I would have to wait until Monday for an update. To me this is unacceptable as every other car service at any other shop I’ve had they are very great with communication and if your car is going to be staying over the weekend, by end of business day, you were provided adequate updates for service. There was also misunderstanding and miscommunication around taxes and fees applied leading and me being surprised at $63 additional fee. Upon bringing this to Elysia’s attention, I was met with non-accountability and passive aggressiveness and asking to speak with her manager. Her manager showcased the same lack of accountability and understanding, and on my way out, I was treated to more of Elysia’s passive aggressive tones. I found the whole process unprofessional, and will never bring my car here again . If you don’t know how to communicate with people properly and professionally and are not trained to be with the public I beg of you please find other work! More
I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received from the service department. My husband and I dropped off our brand-new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox for a scheduled 8:00 AM appointment to address serious from the service department. My husband and I dropped off our brand-new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox for a scheduled 8:00 AM appointment to address serious issues, including shaking at speeds over 60 mph and alignment problems. We’d had the vehicle for less than two weeks at the time, so we expected prompt and professional service. We specifically asked our advisor to keep us updated, but no one reached out to either of us the entire day. I finally called around 4:30 PM, only to be given the runaround. I was transferred multiple times and sent to voicemail repeatedly. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a brand-new vehicle and at a dealership we trusted. The dealership’s service department kept the car for an additional day and performed an alignment. They claimed the alignment fixed the problem and even noted in their service report that the issue was resolved after a test drive. However, when we reviewed the paperwork, we noticed that the mileage in and out was exactly the same. When questioned later, they admitted that no one had driven the vehicle, contradicting the service report. How could the dealership’s service department fail to identify such a basic issue with their own vehicle? This blatant lack of transparency and accountability is beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. When we picked the vehicle back up and noticed it was still shaking, we brought it right back. The Sales Manager, James Russo, gave us a loaner vehicle and assured us he would personally make sure the issue was handled. Despite this, they kept our vehicle for an entire week, and during that time, no one called to update us. I had to reach out myself, and they finally told me the car was ready. However, when I picked it up again, the shaking issue was still unresolved. Frustrated, we took the car to Firestone to have them diagnose the issue. It took them less than an hour to determine that the problem was due to two bad tires—an issue that Capital Chevrolet’s service department failed to identify despite having the vehicle in their possession for over a week with no real solution. How is it that another company was able to identify the issue so quickly, while Capital Chevrolet’s service department completely failed to do so? Now, it’s time for me to make my first payment on a vehicle I haven’t even had for a full week since purchasing it. This entire experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and completely shattered my trust in this dealership. After dealing with the service department, I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership, nor will I refer anyone to come here. Clear communication, basic accountability, and proper diagnosis of a vehicle’s issues should be standard practice, and yet, none of these expectations were met. It’s disappointing because my initial experience with the sales department was phenomenal. On 11/14/24, I decided to trade in my 2024 Honda HR-V and purchased the Chevrolet Equinox. Both Frankie Reyes and Finance Manager Will Perry provided excellent service, making the process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable. Frankie went above and beyond to make the process seamless, while Will Perry ensured we felt supported and valued throughout the entire transaction. Their professionalism and dedication to exceptional service left me feeling confident and reassured in my decision. Unfortunately, the service department’s complete lack of communication, transparency, and failure to resolve such a critical issue has erased any positive feelings I once had about this dealership. I hope this feedback encourages serious improvements, but as of now, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I had a very disappointing experience at Capital Chevy in Wake Forest. After agreeing on deal verbally with one of their sales representatives and approved by the manager on, I was shocked when I drove an ho Wake Forest. After agreeing on deal verbally with one of their sales representatives and approved by the manager on, I was shocked when I drove an hour to finalize the purchase on a vehicle not even in stock yet. The night time manager was completely uninformed about our agreement earlier in the day and attempted to change the terms significantly, claiming the previous manager didn’t “look into the trade enough” even after I signed the good faith estimate with all numbers including trade on the document. It became clear that their management lacks competence and accountability. Instead of honoring the deal agreed on, they tried to present themselves as straight shooters and present a less favorable deal than was already in place and agreed upon. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional, leaving me with the impression that they operate in bad faith. I would strongly advise anyone considering this dealership to proceed with caution. They are not reliable, and their management clearly does not uphold their commitments. There are better options out there for a trustworthy car buying experience. More

Worst dealership in 4 counties. I purchase a new vehicle every 1-2 years and I have had the pleasure of working with some if the best dealerships in Wake and surrounding counties. H I purchase a new vehicle every 1-2 years and I have had the pleasure of working with some if the best dealerships in Wake and surrounding counties. However, thus dealership is the absolute WORST I have ever had to work with. They sold me a vehicle with multiple (and I mean 4 or more issues) with the promise that they would fix whenever I brought it in. I have been trying to get it fixed for almost 3 weeks now and all I get is the run around b/c they claim to not have a loaner they can give me since the work will take more than a day. I have infant twins and being without a vehicle to transport them to and from daycare so I can work is just not an option. If they have cars on the lot, then they have a car they can loan. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM...THEY WILL MAKE YOU REGRET EVER STEPPING FOOT ON TGEOR PROPERTY. I asked to speak with the GM, after 10 mins on hold I was told they were not available. I asked to be sent to their voicemail amd was told they don't have one. This is an awful business who obviously cares nothing for customers who spend $85,000 with them... If this is how they treat people who spend that kind of money, I would hate to know how they treat people less fortunate. More

Their incompetence could have gotten me killed! I purchased my 2019 Toyota Highlander there and with it came "free" oil changes, tire rotations and car washes. Last time I was there when they w I purchased my 2019 Toyota Highlander there and with it came "free" oil changes, tire rotations and car washes. Last time I was there when they were finished, as I was driving out of the parking lot, I felt a vibration in the steering so I headed right back. Service guy hoped in the passenger seat so I could show him the issue and as we're driving around in the parking lot out back of the dealership, the right front wheel literally falls off the car. Apparently the person (kid) they hired for their quick lube area had only tightened a couple lugs by hand. One for sure was missing. I had to call for a ride to take me home so they could assess the damage and fix what needed to be fixed. Against my better judgement, I visited them again when it was time for my next oil change. They took my car in at 11:30. After waiting very patiently, at 1:15 I asked them to give me a status so I could decide whether to wait some more or tell them I'd come back another day. Come to find out, they had lost my paperwork so my car never got in line to be serviced. The service account rep assured me they were dropping what they were doing and it would be done soon. Almost an hour later they finished up. He told me to wait for a moment as he wanted to ask the manager if there was anything they could do or offer me for the inconvenience of them having it take so long for a scheduled oil change. He came back and said she Annie Morrell, (the manager) said that "since we're already giving you the oil change for free they weren't going to offer anything else" That was such a poor xxxxxxxx answer because those oil changes weren't free, they were built into the negotiated price of the vehicle. That aside this "manager" didn't even take 2 minutes out of her busy day to tell me herself. Don't have any work done here. It could cost your your life, and they wont even acknowledge their mistake.
